Dalbello Sports Krypton Pro ID Boot - Men's

Dalbello Sports Krypton Pro ID Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 7, 2011

yep...I put the black tongues on mine. I am 163-165 5'11". It is just a personal "feel choice", but for me the softer tongue absorbs the rougher run outs and hits better without springing or kicking back too abruptly. That kick can sometimes be the ski you are on but I have been on many different skis while using the KR Pro's and it really loses nothing in terms of carve as the lateral stability and power of the boot is amazing. Just terrific in pow or crud and will amaze you on the groomers. No lack of power here.

Houdini Airborn Zip Top - Men's

Houdini Airborn Zip Top - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2011

it just may be the best base layer top from a material and fit standpoint. The combo of silk and merino wool make this feel so flippin good on. Super thin, light and supple. Medium fits me well 5'11" 163-165. It has amazing stretch quality. Raglan style sleeves with no seam bunching up under your armpit. Have owned all the high end Arcteryx, Icebreaker, Smartwool, Mammut etc and have to say this has the best fit. Not super tight but next to the skin form fitting in your regular size.
Unbelievable comfort.

Look Pivot 14 Ski Binding

Rating for this product: 5 November 27, 2011

Backcountry has the 140's listed at 1065 grams:
1065 grams is equal to 2.347923 pounds.
maybe for one toe and one heel piece combo is my guess.

Rossi FKS 180 is 5.6 pounds a pair.
Marker Jesters with a 132mm brake are 2065 grams a pair.

have used and owned all the above. They have all been good bindings with no pre release or durability issues.

Peak Performance Heli Alpine Jacket - Men's

October 31, 2011

order both send one back ez... I owned this suit two seasons ago. Best jacket/pant combo from any brand ever for me. I wore a medium medium and I am a medium. Best material, feel, workmanship of any brand out there including Norrona and Arcteryx. Have owned enough of both. Noticed BC is not carrying the Alpine Pant other than the soft shell. You need both. The feel is way cool. Suit just moves with ya. Stretch Gore good stuff

SmartWool NTS Lightweight Zip Top - Men's

SmartWool NTS Lightweight Zip Top - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 31, 2011

me: 5'11 163lbs 34/35 sleeve length in dress shirts. Bought size medium. Fit is close to skin (NTS=next to skin)without strangling any part of my anatomy. Washing this good lookin top will get rid of the initial itchy shock. Looks svelt not too loose. Way better fit than Icebreaker for me (have to go to size large in that brand. I would say if you are a large get large and do not size up. Got the Canyon Orange color and it is not the neon vivid orange the pic shows. It is bit more subdued on the slightly burnt orange side. Very cool color, happy.

Look PX 12 Jib Micro Heel Ski Binding

March 25, 2011

there is a single smooth indent on the plastic heel step on the brake (its in the middle of the heel pad). The heavier race heel piece's use a brake that has a horseshoe shaped indent on the heel pad. make sure they match and you will have the right fit. They do not interchange.

Rossignol FKS 180 Ski Binding

Rossignol FKS 180 Ski Binding

Rating for this product: 5 March 18, 2011

Some one mentioned they should call the 115 brake the x-large and build a 125mm for an XXL, could not agree more...bent mine out enough to satisfy my 127mm Nordica Radict's but shouldn't have had to for the dough spent. Might also ad a small accessory lift for those that opt to use it. Nuf snivelin...Love the binding for the positive snow feel, the way it snaps closed giving you that for sure I'm in feeling. Also a big plus is how easy the heels open to step out of. Always been a Look/Rossi binding fan. Elasticity is the name of the game and literally allows you to run em at a lower setting if you wish. These are a little more sensitive to snow build up imo, so be careful there but all in all bueno.

K2 Hellbent Alpine Ski

March 3, 2011

+6 worked great. No tip dive in fairly deep heavier snow that I felt. Seems like it nails that sweet spot with all the tail rocker length. Not very much flat area behind the rear heel at +6. Eliminated the 'wheely' effect in pow for the most part unless you really wanted them to. Worked fine for the groomers too. Personally would not go less than +4 or +5 unless you have a really big boot. I use a 316mm 27.5 shell at +6.

Blow it up!

K2 Hellbent Alpine Ski

K2 Hellbent Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 March 2, 2011

If you can't have fun on these you don't have a pulse!
That said I was staring down at my +6 mount on these 179's
thinking wow these buggers seem short, too short. Not so ... I'm about 5'11 165 lbs in my boxers. Could I go longer sure, oh hell yeh but...this is alot of ski. I had an incredible first run experience through the 'doors' at Crystal yesterday. These were quick and the right medicine for weaving through trees and technical steep gullies etc. They charged. The ability to change direction and scrub speed was amazing. In wide open bowls longer would be nicer sure and in reality I would not need this much
width. But man these are fun. If you are on the fence with the length issue, both lengths 79/89 have their place. If I were going longer and wanted just a one ski quiver, I would go to a 189 oBsethed, Lib Tech NAS Pow 191, or a Chetler in a 192. These Hellbents have their place in a 79 though. p.s. hiked into the Southback today with nothing but a super smooth windbuff layer over pow and these just slayed in the 179 length.

Dalbello Sports Krypton Pro I.D. Ski Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 15, 2011

came off of a pair of foamed WC 120 Langes...broke-back blue ones that I thought were irreplaceable. Well long story short...got injured bad in Dec. Calf and ankle smoked. Did not want to break the bank foaming another pair of Langes to accomodate the new ankle shape. Well I read a bunch of stuff on how to heat mold these babies and rolled the dice. Bingo, perfect fit, lucky huh... Well I got tot tell ya they ski well, really well. The trick for me was removing the white "B" tongue and using the black "C". I'm 5'11" and 165lbs in my shorts. Found they absorb rough terrain much better than with the stiffer tongue. They rail turns and laterally they are pretty dang quick.

Peak Performance BL 3L Pant - Men's

Peak Performance BL 3L Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 24, 2010

I'll try to keep this short...1st: lets dispel the Euro cut that the picture may display. While not super baggy like new school Armada or Oakley etc, these are more of a loose fitting cut. I sized up from mediums in Norrona pants to Large in this model from Peak. The size chart here that BC provides is worth noting. 2ND: features.. like rubberized backing on the suspenders that help em grip and stay put on your shoulders, a boot gaitor with super grippy backing and is adjustable too if you are the touring type are a couple. The wrap around edge guards on the cuff are similar to the Norrona Lofoten pant. A high enough very comfortable back. 3Rd: the two types of gore-tex materials, these babies are light! Supple but tough. the material feels like none other. Quality is off the charts along with the price, so a guy better be stoked...that said, I am glad I ventured back to the Peak brand. If you have the means or can get a hookup...buy em! My dimensions...5'11" 162-165 (pre xmas). waist 33-34, hips 39-42. Both waist and hip measurements taken with street pants/shirt on.

Peak Performance Heli Alpine Jacket - Men's

December 15, 2010

yep, hey there Karl...obviously not a component jacket. I paired mine up a couple different ways. First I used the Peak insulated hoody which was wayyy warm underneath. Then I went with something not quite as warm but just about perfect the Atom LT from Arcteryx underneath. The CLO insulator Jacket from Norona is the best for me so far. Its warm without being too warm. It does not have the hood but a very nice collar which I prefer. This Peak Heli is by far the best I've owned. Better than any shell from Arcteryx or Norrona (that I have tried) and I own Norrona now (I like Norrona's bibs). No doubt Karl, expensive for two pieces meaning Shell and insulator but the material, fit and craftsmanship are worth it.
Maybe look at the Peak Performance Massive which is a seperate shell and insulator combo. It looks really clean and has a seperate hood from the collar which I like. You get both for the same price as this individual Heli Alpine Jacket.

Norrøna Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Shell Pant - Men's

Norrøna Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Shell Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 4, 2010

These have more of a freeride fit. A roomier nice baggy look without the sloppy. I'm 5'11" and 162-165 lbs. Have a bit longer legs for my height and the Mediums are the bomb for fit! Perfect length with the cuff breaking nicely on top of my boot. Plenty long. I'll see if I can upload a pic. Hey, if you get these I found that going up a size to a large in Norrøna Falketind Gore-Tex Pro Shell Jacket for me was the ticket. Medium Jacket looks too 'Svelt' with the medium Lofoten pant. But hey thats just me. Anyway bomber pant/bib setup. Really like the little stash pocket on the removable powder bib. If I made one improvement and its really looking for something to 'nit pick' would be to widen the suspender straps a bit. They work just fine the way they are but just in case Norrona is listening :) LOVE EM

Mammut Warm-Quality Zip Top - Men's

Mammut Warm-Quality Zip Top - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 3, 2010

I'm 5'11 165ish and went with the large as I do with my base layers vs outer. At first look the Mammut Warm tops anything I've owned from Arcteryx including the LTW which is imo the best base layer top to date I have used. Great quality construction with a wonderful soft merino feel with the Mammut. Ibex Tops are too itchy (for me) and I don't want or have time to "get use to it". Icebreakers which I own are very good but sloppy compared to the Mammut Warm, also the Icebreakers super tall neck is a bit itchy and well, just too tall. The Mammut Warm has the perfect neck height and better feel against your skin. Can't wait to sweat up a storm in these. Liked the charcoal on so much I bought the blue too. Both colors are boss.

Check out the performance ski rental shop by the Snorting Elk Pub just across the foot bridge on the left. You may be able to rent both sizes. Greater supply of these on the market this year may lead to rental availability. Call/email? When in doubt go longer. Easier to sell if you feel they are not what you want.

Norrøna Narvik Warm3 Hooded Fleece Jacket - Men's

Norrøna Narvik Warm3 Hooded Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 7, 2010

Nice length and definately a bit heavier fleece. Nice soft feel obviously. Funny how things can be cut different from Shells to Fleece or Base layers from the same mfg. That said, I sized up to a Large and got lucky on the fit. I'm 5'11" 165ish. Thumb holes on the extended wrist gaitors are a nice touch. Nice longer arms and the torso length comes down over your hips. Not baggy but tapered without being too conforming. Its just an awesome Fleece that will be a go to piece for just kickin it or whatever. I honestly have never been a big fan of fleece but this looks to make me a convert.

Peak Performance Heli Alpine Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 5, 2010

Have the 09/10 pewter with lime green accents instead of red with the same white zips. Cool to see BC carrying this stuff. Their pics however don't do a high dollar jacket justice and would take a look at http://www.peakperformance.com/ for mo betta real world pic's. Been using their stuff for about 4 years now. Was a die hard Arcteryx fan previous. I wear medium in the Pant and Jacket and am 5'11" 165ish. The Heli Alpine Jacket and Pant are not tight fitting at all. More of a loose but smooth freeride look without the over supply of sloppy. They are extremely durable with incredible attention to detail. They move with you well without the loud krinkle and seem to have a bit of stretch built in. Great on stormy days hiking for turns too. Yep its a lot of dollars and will be hard to justify for some. But for those of you who have the means, you may never go back to other brands once you use this stuff.

Norrøna Lyngen CLO 100 Insulated Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 4, 2010

Couple of things: collar appears a bit taller than the picture shows but definately not too tall. In fact perfect for tucking your chin behind the soft felt.Has built in spandex wrist/snow guard but no thumb hole. I'm o.k. with that but for 2 bones would be nice. Went with a medium. I'm 5'11" 162-165 and wear 34/35 sleeve in a dress shirt. Fits perfect. Great layer under the Norrøna Falketind Gore-Tex Pro Shell (same size). Fills it out perfect. Nice piece.

Volkl Kuro Alpine Ski

Volkl Kuro Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 March 18, 2010

happen to rent these in a 185 at both Whistler and Crystal. Conditions were fresh but not uber deep both days. Please, these things just slay it. (insert) Anything short of glassy ice they will surprise and you can haul some serious ass. Obviously with an aggressive forward stance. Great rolling edge to edge. In the fresh because of the surface area they glide super fast and almost float on the surface too much.?.?. wow wierd sensation, until you comfortably cruise around fairly fast skiers at speed in total control in the fresh. Comment's are...should I get some? These are from my race buds. Ya know there are a lot of really good skis out there. These exceed that premise. Big, weird , but awefully good.

Elan 1010 ALU Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 February 25, 2010

These are silky, damp, quick, and stable on edge. Grip on old hardpan surface was impressive. You can haul some serious butt on these with confidence. One of the top 110/112 waisted skis I've tried the last two seasons. Me 5'11" 165 and bought the 183. 190's would be cool too. These float and kill it in the mank. (update) March 30th @ Crystal deep 18-23 with some slopes not having been skied the day before. Previous day saw 13' fresh and 5 new over the tracked lumpy previous. These floated at speed and cut through the lumpy stuff with no deflection. Stoked. Prefer these over the Katana but thats just me. Reason being these engage the beginning turn better and finish strong. Might be because of a bit less early tip rise and a touch softer flex up front than the Katana. Not a soft ski just a righteous flex. You should get em if you want a daily driver in the 108/112 waist range. Can't go wrong.

I know this is a bit late but for anyone else putting Look/Rossi PX bindings on these there is no need to go to the 120 brake. Just mounted Look PX 15's with a 100mm brake on mine. Just bend em out a tad on each side. No problem at all with clearance because of the slanted sidewall under foot and it looks super sano. They tuck in tighter vs the 120 when up too. Cheers.

The North Face Monte Cargo Print Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 19, 2010

I'm a bit older so gravity has taken my waist out a bit bigger :) Typically wear a 33 waist 34 length in Levis with some Carhart's coming in at 32/34. The Large in these is the perfect length for me. You can pull the side tabs in a bit and not look like a dork. They really fit awesome and the length is perfect. Me 5'11" 165. The bittersweet brown print looks soooo much better in person than the pic here. Baggy schmaggy, these are perfect and the best part is I'm not spending 400+ bucks like I have many times before on other techie pants...

maybe too little too late but just posted a review on the regular flex model. I'm 162-165lbs minus gear and have the 181. Not that super stiff but definately not a weak flex. They rip through turns at mach. You'll like either but I would go the regular flex if I had to guess for your size. Some metal in the softer flexing ski would be interesting. Dimensions that I measured on the 181 are 145/111/136... purrrfect
Hope that helps

Splice me again

Oakley Splice Goggle

Oakley Splice Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 January 23, 2010

Yep these are some jewels and here is why. No tears or caked up teared up lenses at speed. I have the Pink Iridium lense w/gloss white frame. Have been a Smith fan forever and own Prodigy's, Fuses, and the Phenom. They all tear up maybe even the Splice will in time but so far after 3 days of chargin they have not. I wore mine with a beanie. They fit inside a G-10 helmet perfect where a Prodigy won't. Have to give the nod to the Sensor lense from Smith on super flat days but I'll be ownin a pair of the H.I. yellow from Oakley soon to compare. These Pink Iridim worked well from the dark shaded areas or even some flat light (not soup) to mixed sun/cloud.

Arc'teryx Rho LT Zip Top - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 22, 2009

If color is imperative then this will work fine. Just o.k. in the warmth and wicking department. The Arcteryx LTW with real merino wool smokes this and fits a ton better too. Have owned several LT and LTW tops. If you work hard as a skier on back country hikes to get to your stash or skinning the LTW will dry way quicker and is warmer in a good way. Seems to regulate your body heat better. I'm 5'11 162-165 with long arms and broader shoulders. I order large in base layers and medium in outer. The LTW stretches and hugs your body better. The neck on the LTW isn't sloppy like the current LT. Had LT's before and the cut seemed to be better than the current issue.

NAS Pow Most fun on a Fat Ski ever

Lib Technologies NAS Pow Recurve Alpine Ski

Lib Technologies NAS Pow Recurve Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 November 21, 2009

revised review: 5 days on these bad boys now. Confidence in spades if you have some skills. Steep lines at speed in blower, windpack, settled cascade snow, avi sluff is just flat fun because the NAS Pow's just slices and powers through it. These are game changer skis even for the very very skilled. They arc fast gs turns and quickly if you so choose on hardpack or groomers that are even rough. They just hunker down with you deciding how much radius. The Magne-Traction imo gives an edge that probably not many super fats can match. Sure the super shapey dimensions help and only aid in this. Is it the perfect fat. Nuthin is ever perfect. Some just do more things right than others. I'm not a sponsored dude. Just an old guy that likes to rip. Had no problem keepin up and even passin sponsored riders on these. This isn't bout me the ski just helps inspire you to turn it up a notch more in mank, powder covered surface chunks, whatever and do it at speed. Hiked Throne Ridge and up the King goin into the Southback at Crystal today. Have taken these into the terrain and snow they were designed for. I have new Hellbents and Armada ARG's I don't even care to mount because these surf and smear pow better than any Megawatt or Mothership etc. Just sayin they're worthy is all not that the others aren't but what a find. If ya have the means buy em. Sure they might be a hun or two more but think of the crap you waste your money on a day to day basis. Why compromise your on mountain experience?

Line Prophet 100 Ski

October 25, 2009

I'm a smidge under 5'11 and a bit under 165. Skied on the 186cm 100' for a season before the public knew they existed. The 100 will be more useable in varied conditions with a better more balanced platform when you are off piste. On piste if its a 35/40+ degree super hard surface the fronts will shudder through the finish of the turn if you carry alot of speed. Never noticeable any other time and super stable more so than the 90. In the NW we get lots of icy days as well as crud (where the 100 absolutely kills it) and pow pow. The 100 is so fun you'll put that 8000 away imo. It became my go to ski. 3 pairs later I'm burned out on em and trying other skis now. Another ski to consider would be the Movement Source or a slightly more progressive one I just picked up from BC the Lib Tech NAS Freeride Recurve.

Conditions windblown 2-3" new over 5-8" previous day on top of 2 week frozen stuff. These will glide through and over softer mank and cut up chunks without deflecting. If you are on em and skiing correctly they will roll from side to side new school style fairly quickly for directional changes. Steep windblown lines on Grubstake were a blast at Crystal today. The earlier fresh lines off Throne ridge were fast runs but these made it feel slower. As things settle in and the snow is riddled with avy debris or frozen sluff they can deflect but most skis would. There is no metal in these so a bit of floppiness can be experienced on skied out groomers even on edge. Some free pinner dude wrote these are heavy. Not so. Hiked and skate skied into the Southback of Crystal today. I'm old and out of shape and these were not heavier than a lot of fats I've skied. These Watts will do some fun things but don't expect too much. If you can fly on a 100/110mm waist you will probably love these but they are not exponentially better. I had a blast today on these don't get me wrong. You can make em carve on smooth groomers its just a bit weird and commands some concentration. Dreamy slashes and turns through fresh snow on steep terrain are what these are about. You'll want a second helping with the Watts.

Rossignol S6 Koopman Alpine Ski

Mounted mine at the center mark. They hold well and have good versatility. Boot sole mid hash mark on the middle line works great.

Rossignol S6 Koopman Alpine Ski

Rossignol S6 Koopman Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 January 2, 2009

Wanted a daily driver to replace my 186 Line Prophet 100's. Tough task. Had to be as fat and carve well if things got firm. Well the 28th and 29th at Kirkwood things firmed up. Mounted mine at the middle mark with an Axial 140 Ti Pro with a bit of lift. Was worried about stability but no worries. On edge they haul ass and hold amazingly well way outside. You will get some skip on super steep groom if you are pushin it because of the width. Lots of fun on roller coaster terrain as you can throw these from side to side and rail turns. Weird talkin about groomers I know. These are glassy but damp. Will kick some because of no metal so you just adjust your technique when bumpy terrain comes. A Katana or Prophet have metal in them so they will tend to stay down and punch comparitively is my guess since I have skied em both in chop and pow. Verdict still out on crud and pow with these. Should be fun.

Volkl The Grizzly Alpine Ski w/ Motion iPT Wide Ride 14.0 Binding

Volkl The Grizzly Alpine Ski w/ Motion iPT Wide Ride 14.0 Binding

Rating for this product: 5 December 12, 2008

I'm 5'11 165 and usually ski the longer lengths in most brands. Was at Alta and rented a pair in a 177cm and it was plenty of ski. It was a hardpan day so groomers and junk snow was the scenario. Was able to get these way outside and trust the edge hold to bring these around at a very fast pace. Stability means confidence and this 177 had it in spades. It has a nicer flex than the AC 50 in hand to me. This is a punchy, fun, rowdy new school midfat thats racy. Just what I was looking for on a front side day with some side excursions. The bindings were cool and maybe contributed to the solid edge feel but honestly think this Volkl ski would shave granite with any binding. Amazing hold for its dimensions.

Arc'teryx Sigma SV Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Sigma SV Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 21, 2007

just back from Whistler where it was 12-16 degrees with blowing dry cold snow. this sucker is windproof unlike other softshells. Smokes the cutsie Gamma MX which I've owned. The Gamma SV is nice for what it is but no match either. The fit is form fitting but loose enough to get another very form fitting soft shell under it plus a powerstretch T-neck layer under that. Perfect for a cold day. At Crystal 25 degrees or so today and puking I wore just a powerstretch t-neck, the Sigma SV, and a 5 year old Sirrus SL superlight gore-tex shell over thr SV. Hood is big and kind of dorkie but throws over quickly if your the helmet type or cinches if stackin a woolie on the noggin. Have owned alot of Arcteryx. Sent alot back too recently! This is a keeper. Nice piece.

Line Prophet 100 Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 November 1, 2007

has a yellow color Line insignia on a black base. Don't know about you but gotta like the black base for repair issues. The Boyz at our beloved B-Country just missed this is all. By the way...just mounted my second pair cuz they're just that good. Two full seasons on my last pair and all my friends wanted my pair when they saw me ski them. The new graphics are awesome. Dollar for Dollar the most Big Mtn Performance for the Buck spent. Have a close friend sponsored by K2 that when asked by the K2 Pres, what his favorite ski of the manufacturers test at Snowbasin was...His response was the Line Prophet 100. Interesting...not that it wasn't already in the works but I guess it didn't hurt as K2 bought Line!

An industry secret is out called the Prophet 100

Line Prophet 100 Alpine Ski

Line Prophet 100 Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 November 8, 2006

This ski simply rules it all. Its construction with the metal matrix lay-up over maple is ingenious. The metal top sheet wraps over the core in segments to give you less twist and more bite where you need it. At speed in chop or Super-G'n on silk or windblown they inspire confidence and big grins. Stable and damp but at the same time nimble and quick. Wow, they outclass the Gun Lab 188's I had in a big way. More fun than my Outlaws when it’s deeper. People considering Gotamas should ride these as the Prophet is not as bouncy. The Prophet kills it Period.

Arc'teryx Minuteman Bib - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 1, 2006

I own a bunch of Arc’teryx. The Minutemans make it through the absolute worst weather the mountain can throw down keeping you dry. Wear like iron. The Minuteman fit is roomier in the butt and legs than the Theta SK's. This site supplies me with the medium-long lengths which is an extra 1 1/2 to 2 inches so they don't ride high on your boot cuff while yur rippin pow. Nice and dry. Worth every penny and will last years until you get sick of the color and then buy another!

Line Prophet 100 Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2006

Incredible, romping, kick-ass, versatile Fat that can lay down GS arcs as well as float fast and furious lines down Blackcomb Glacier. Totally stoked how well they smashed over the tops of soft deep mogul fields and devastated deep, steep cut up pow bumps.

Rating for this product: 5 August 29, 2005

If you are like me and are pretty much a minimalist in what you like to carry on your back, just buy this; I bought this for my wife. Other than the color being to girly, (they need this in a men’s color) this model can be used by men who hate carrying anything on their back while they ski. I used it on a summer hike. Went straight up lower and upper Exterminator ski run and its design just works and doesn't flop around. And, it has ingenious little features.

Fischer Big Stix FX 8.6 Alpine Ski

Fischer Big Stix FX 8.6 Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 December 12, 2003

A lot like my old AK Rockets in terms of flex. Very round but even a more flexy tail. Own the 190 which is 10cm
shorter than the old AK Rockets. Mounted
these with Marker comp 1400 pistons.
Skied two day old crud with cookies and some smooth crud today as well as high speed groomers that were fairly steep.
They have no metal but the carbon keeps em quiet and stable at a very fast pace.
Not quite the badger bite but no metal and its a cap construction is why. Held decent none the less.
