New England, The White Mountains, Cannon -
Bio:
I am lucky enough to have a job that pays me to play outside! Teaching at an outdoor focused boarding school in New Hampshire gives me the opportunity not only to live and play in the North Country but also to share my passion for the outdoors with my students. I strive to be a four season athlete: running, climbing, back packing and canoeing in the spring, summer and fall and skiing and ice climbing in the winter - Northern New England is the perfect place to do it all!

Black Diamond AMPerage Ski
February 18, 2012
It has been a terrible season here in New Hampshire with far too many "spring" days in February than one would like. The AMPs hold an edge like a champion and carve through wet snow with ease. With the rockered tips you get tossed around a little in chopped up conditions but its a small price to pay for a sick ski.

The straps on the Baltoro attach to the padding via velcro. I simply slide my camelbak tube between the padding and the strap. It has worked out nicely for me.

Outdoor Research Mithril Softshell Jacket - Men's
February 20, 2010
The insulation is by no means thick. With an insulating layer you would be quite comfortable!

Columbia Psycho Cowboy III Parka - Men's
February 4, 2010
The Cowboy III is a different style - much more modeled after a "work coat" than a "ski jacket"
