Double-stitched, definitely have the look and feel of a higher quality pair of shorts. Just beware the sizing. I'm a 31/32 waist, so went with the Medium, which is supposed to fit like a 32. To me, they fit more like a 33, so a bit baggy. When worn with a belt, they're OK.
