Review Title

Look PX 12 Ti Jib Wide Ski Binding

I have had four pairs of this binding, either the look px 12 ti or the dynastar px12 jib. Each pair have broken at the toe piece, if your someone who likes to charge it in every condition and actually listen to shop guys telling you that these are burly and will hold up think again. I would recommend going with the px 15 or 18 series bindings. Metal toe and heal piece you wont break!

Good Binding but Beware

Dynastar PX 14 Racing XXL Ski Binding

These bindings are sick but like the px 12 they still have the composite plastic toe piece which is a little less burlier than the heal piece. I have owned 3 pair of these bindings and each have been replacements of the one before. Although the heal piece indestructible the toe is not i have broke three toe pieces in the same place because the plastic is just not strong enough, and it is just weird since each time they have broke i wasn't riding hard at all. Most of the time they broke when landing in the park so if your one who shreds the park I would suggest spending the extra cash to get the px 15 which has the same kind of design as the old salomon s912, 916 series bindings. But all in all a great binding.

I am looking for a new climbing shoe that i can use in both indoor bouldering and outdoor trad climbing. This shoe seems as though it would be a good match the only thing is I don't know what size to get. I wear a 10.5 in my old red chili shoe and an 11.5 street shoe. What size should i get?

Not so great

Line Sir Francis Bacon Alpine Ski

Yes these skis rip the pow quite nicely but the edges blow out very easy not to mention the de-lamination of the top sheet and also delam of the edge from the base. I skied maybe 10 days of non pow pow this past season and these skis have just fallen apart on me. This will have been the second pair of line skis that have fallen apart after one season.
