Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Sunglasses - Polarized

August 9, 2009

if you go on Oakley's website and look at these same glasses, there will be a tab called "lenses" where Oakley has simulated the different lens tints for different activities: golf, snow, trails, water activities and jogging.

Backcountry.com Stoic 2.0 Shell - Men's

May 14, 2009

Would this jacket work well to ski in as a top layer? Am I right to understand there is little to no insulation with this jacket?

Oakley Flak Jacket Sunglasses - Polarized

January 9, 2009

Oakley did a really great job making the Flak Jacket glasses off of the half jacket mold. These glasses will fit a wide range of faces. If they are still too big, keep in mind Backcountry's return policy...100% guaranteed.

Great Mittens

Burton Gore-Tex Mitten - Men's

Burton Gore-Tex Mitten - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 2, 2009

Great pair of mittens. Liners fit well and still allowed for great dexterity. I wore just the mittens around the base of the mountain and they were really warm, my hand was starting to sweat alittle. These mittens also dry really well over night, they were not moist at all any of the mornings after boarding all day the previous day.

Very Comfortable

Smith Phenom Goggle

Smith Phenom Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 January 2, 2009

These goggles never fogged on me! They have a vent at the top of the lenses to air out the goggles, I left it open the whole time and never had any problems. The flowing air didn't dry out my contacts either. The goggles sit very comfortably on my face, I never pulled them off to relieve my face from the pressure or ended the day with red goggle rings around my face. The clip in the back was new for me and I really liked being able to snap the goggles on and off rather than over my head, hat, hood, etc. The only downside to these is I had the platinum lenses and they are not good in low light conditions, kinda understood. However, on the more sunny days, they were perfect!

Very Comfortable

Reef Inside Out Board Short - Men's

Reef Inside Out Board Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 2, 2009

Just what you would expect from board shorts: light weight, quick drying, long enough to be stylish but short enough to not drag you back in the water. Highly recommended.

Six Six One Pro Bravo Carbon Helmet

November 5, 2008

You could mount in on the visor. Since the visor is adjustable, you would have to just tighten down the knob that allows the visor to move.

Great Helmet

Six Six One Pro Bravo Carbon Helmet

Six Six One Pro Bravo Carbon Helmet

Rating for this product: 5 September 30, 2008

Very light weight full face helmet. I'm still able to drink out of my CamelPak while I'm riding. I do have to use the 90 degree bend for the hose. The Pro helmet has good venting with mesh holes in the grill and back to help air flow. I really recommend this helmet.
