The North Face Vanton Winter Boot - Boys'

Rating for this product: 5 October 23, 2008

My 8 yr old son loves these boots. He's worn them in the mountain snow, mud, freezing temps, and hiking and they've kept him comfortable, warm and dry. A tough thing to do with kids these days. They seem to fit true to size.

I bought this top for my 8 yr old son. He loves it. He's worn it at football practice when the temp. drops. Most recently he wore it on an elk hunting trip in Wyoming and when the temps dipped below freezing he stayed toasty.

Softer than expected

Carhartt Double-Front Canvas Carpenter Pant - Men's

Carhartt Double-Front Canvas Carpenter Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 October 17, 2008

These pants are pretty comfy. They are softer than I expected from a Carhartt but they hold up well. I wear them kicking in the woods and around the house. You won't go wrong. They seem true to size in the waist but long in the length.

Backcountry.com Cocona No-Show Sock - 4 Pack

Rating for this product: 5 August 15, 2008

I wear these socks trail running, biking, and in the office and they are the bomb-diggity. They pull out the moisture, don't get funky, and are super comfy. This was my first pair with the coconut tech stuff and I'm sold.

Nice and Roomy

The North Face Moraine 33 Bx Tent 3-Person 3-Season

The North Face Moraine 33 Bx Tent 3-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 4 July 14, 2008

The shape is odd looking on the outside but makes it nice and roomy inside. The first time setting it up was tricky but just remember the gray pole goes across the front and the gray tab on the rain fly matches up with the gray tab on the tent you should be good to go. It held up in the wind and vented well in the heat of summer weather.

Like Sleeping on a cloud

Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad - Rectangular

Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad - Rectangular

Rating for this product: 4 July 14, 2008

This is one comfy ground pad. A big enough size that the average bear doesn't have to worry about falling off but small and compact enough that it fits into the smallest of packed spaces. Make sure you're sitting down when you inflate this bad boy 'cause it takes a while but is well worth it.
