Not a bag for the high country

The North Face Beeline 900 Sleeping Bag: 30 degree Down

I own 2 other North Face bags and love them. So i bought this one for an ultralight bag. I used it this past weekend and was disappointed. First night I was at 10,000 ft. and temps got down to about 35. Wasn't shivering, but was tossing and turning all night to keep warm.
Second night descended to 9,000 ft. and was still cold. Woke up and nothing was frozen so I know temps weren't below 32 deg. Bag rated at 30, I don't think so... Probably more like a 45 deg. bag. Great bag for summer in the lowlands. Not a bag for the backcountry...Trust me.
