Adventure Medical Ultralight & Watertight .5 First Aid Kit

Adventure Medical Ultralight & Watertight .5 First Aid Kit

Rating for this product: 5 August 25, 2009

Very light weight. You can take this anywhere... hiking, roadtrips, long-term travel, or just to keep in the glove box for small emergencies. Comes with everything you'll need to treat minor accidents until you can get back to civilization. And a great price too. Recommended!

Backcountry.com Siphon Wool Hooded Jacket - Men's

Backcountry.com Siphon Wool Hooded Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 August 25, 2009

Chill hoody... Great material inside and out. The length in the arms fit perfect, although the length in the torso was a little short for me...hence the 4 star rating. I am somewhat taller though, so that probably plays a significant role. Overall, the hoody is super warm, and I love the look. Awesome product!

Burton Jeremy Snowboard

August 22, 2009

You can use any standard or EST bindings with this board.

"An ICS binding interface allows nearly limitless stance options and the ability to run either standard or EST bindings."

(copy and pasted from above)

Burton provides an "adapter" plate of sorts with EST boards to work with standard bindings.

Love this beanie. Super soft, feels awesome. Doesn't leave you with "ichy head". And I look like a total bad ass wearing it. Buy one if you too, wish to look like a bad ass mo fo.

Good day to day pack.

The North Face Mentor Backpack - 2150cu in

The North Face Mentor Backpack - 2150cu in

Rating for this product: 4 August 20, 2009

The Mentor does what it's made for, a great day to day pack for school/work. Personally, I use it to work and back and it has been sufficient. Wouldn't mind if it were a little bit bigger though. The only other qualm I have is the zippers, though sturdy, seem to "catch" often, and are not very smooth operationally. This seems to be a common occurence in most Northface bags I've owned.

I've owned this board through 2 winters now, (I have the previous model) and would buy it again if it came to it. Love the board. Absolutely no problems anywhere on the mountain.

The North Face Primero 70 Backpack - 3950-4600cu in

Rating for this product: 5 August 14, 2009

I've had the pack about 6 months now, and have no complaints. The X radial frame truly is amazing, and makes this pack very comfortable, even at heavier weights. The inside stays completely dry in inclement weather. Recommended!!

Good Buy.

Volcom Peabody 2 Creedler Sandal - Men's

Volcom Peabody 2 Creedler Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 August 14, 2009

I put these sandals through some rough situations, including climbing around on the Great Wall of China, and hiking around on the Phi Phi Islands. I know, not the choice footwear for such activities, but both were spur of the moment things, and the sandals did me well. After some good, rough use, the outter cloth on the sandals may begin to unstitch, as mine are now. But the comfort and durability provided by them is worth it and I am buying my second pair right now.

Spy Cooper Sunglasses

Spy Cooper Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 August 14, 2009

The best shades I've owned. I loved them!! Apparently, so did the dude that swiped them off the bar as I was shooting pool. As a replacement, I tried the Spy Logans. I'm happy with the Logans, but if I were to do it again, I would get another pair of the Coopers.

Spy Logan Sunglasses

Spy Logan Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 4 August 14, 2009

Don't get me wrong I love Spy and I love my Logans. The only thing I have wrong with them is, when it starts getting warm out, and you're sweating doing whatever activity it is you're doing, the lenses tend to fog up near the top/center of each lense. Before the Logans, I owed the Cooper, and this was never a problem. Other than that, I love the look of them on my face and they have been extremely durable, traveling with me to Japan, China and Eastern Europe and they have a full season of snowboarding until the belt. Overall, recommended.

Burton Wheelie Locker

Burton Wheelie Locker

Rating for this product: 5 August 13, 2009

Touring the world for 3 years, and needed a good snowboard bag to handle not only multiple snowboards, but carry all my gear as well. This bag did the trick. It holds all my outwear, two boards, goggles/accessories, and regular clothing used on my trips. The bag has traveled with me all over Asia, and now entering Europe on the second year of the journey. It has held up great through all airports and train stations, with only one busted clip. (Probably due to poor handling by the baggage claim.) All gear has always arrived in the same condition it left it. Great bag... and now that it's marked down, it's a deal that can't be passed up. You won't regret this purchase, though I'm not a fan of the "true red flannel plaid" color scheme.
