The watch is smaller than it appears in photos, the band is less than 1/2 inch wide. It is nice for surfing since it is so small and light...but the band sometimes comes open but hasn't fallen off all the way yet. You can slide the safety loop up to the clasp, but overall it looks like it will come off in powerful waves...Good thing its summertime in Maui! Looks ultra retro and turns heads all day!!!!!!!!!
