Great product

Nite Ize Nite Dawg LED Light-Up Dog Collar

Nite Ize Nite Dawg LED Light-Up Dog Collar

Rating for this product: 4 January 19, 2009

Only downside: if your pup has medium or longer length hair, it may cover most of the collar which makes it tough to see. I bought a medium for my 50 lb. Aussie and it's extended at full length, but fits nice and loose. I bought a large for her Berner buddy and it fits him with room to spare. Only other notes: it's easy to use, but the D-ring knocks against the plastic buckle when she runs and makes an audible knocking sound. If you pup is noise sensitive, a piece of cloth tape wrapped around the apex of the D-ring may help.

Too fun!

Nite Ize Flashflight Dog Discuit

Nite Ize Flashflight Dog Discuit

Rating for this product: 4 January 19, 2009

My dog and I love this disc. It's soft enough that I don't worry about her teeth, but it has left her gum bleeding once. The batteries seem well enough protected and I haven't had any trouble rinsing it off. One big downside: Last night, my dog stopped and sat next to her disc instead of bringin it back. When I walked over, I saw that the battery cover had come loose and was lost in the grass. The batteries clip to the light insert, so I was able to find it still shining bright a couple of feet away, but alas, we can't use it as intended without the battery cover. However, we had loads of fun with it before that.

Not quite the typical KEEN fit

KEEN Wasatch Crest WP Trail Run Shoes - Women's

KEEN Wasatch Crest WP Trail Run Shoes - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 December 1, 2008

I was really excited to get these shoes in the mail because they appeared to have all of the typical features I look for in a winter shoe. Unfortunately, they don't seem to follow the typical KEEN fit. The toe box is unusually tight. I don't have wide feet and can usually wear any brand of running shoe, but my toes actually feel as though they've been stuffed in a tigh pillow box and threaten to fall asleep on me when I put the shoes on. Also, the laces are too short to get a good cinch on. In addition, the laces need one more eyelet at the top to get a good fit. The opening at the ankle is so wide that, combined with low-sitting laces, I have a difficult time tightening the shoe to where my heel doesn't slip. Sadly, I think I'll return them as I've been avoiding wearing them. I ordered slightly large for me, but the toes are tight and if I go any larger, my foot won't stay in it. It's otherwise a very smooth, nice looking shoe with a great in & out sole.

The North Face Space Cowboy Board Short - Women's

May 19, 2008

Does anyone know how wide the leg openings are? I find that it's tough to avoid the 'flare' in the thighs of women's clothing. -Perhaps someone that owns a pair? -Thanks, Runs with Pup
