Arc'teryx Naos 55 on top of Mt. Washington 77 MPH wind

Arc'teryx Naos 55 on top of Mt. Washington 77 MPH wind

Arc'teryx Naos 55 Backpack - 3230-3600cu in

December 18, 2008

Great pack! Waterproof! I first took it on a overnight trip in the White Mt. National Park in NH. We hiked up the Huntington ravine trail no sweat! Pack stayed tight to body, even on sketchy climbs. (You can lube the suspension if it squeaks) The size is great, you can roll it down for smaller loads or over stuff it to a large load. I fill the bottom with my sleeping bag without a stuff sack. The one problem I had was although it is watertight all my Sh** got wet on my first trip. You see the bag has a thoughtful water bladder holder inside with a removable hole to route your camelback line. With the lid on the open hole stay's dry from most weather. My problem was my bladder leaked and all my stuff was wet! The bag did not leak, until I dumped out all my water it was holding. So it holds water just as well as it keeps it out! So if you need it to carry water for some reason it would work well. Thank God my sleeping bag is a Mt. Hardware Spectra with the waterproof conduit shell, otherwise it would have been a really cold night on the side of MT. Washington.
Bottom line great pack!

Arc'teryx Ether Comp Jersey - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 5, 2009

First of all I don't usually like long sleeve shirts. I tend to overheat, but this shirt is thin and breathes well. Fit is good XL 5'10 210lbs. Made in Thailand.

Great Jacket!!

Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 5, 2009

This jacket was made in Canada; I like the soft shell Gore-tex, armpit zips work well for backcountry hiking. I mainly snowboard, snowmobile and sled with my kids with this jacket. It blocks wind and keeps the chill out. I wear XL; 5'10" 210 lbs and have room for layering. Stay dry even in wet, slushy conditions.

Arc'teryx + China = JUNK

Arc'teryx Solano Softshell Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Solano Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 November 5, 2009

I received this jacket as a gift. I am 5'10 210 lbs I have a XL and the fit is good nice a loose, I don't like them too tight. I use it for trail running and it blocks wind good and is warm enough for me to just wear a t-shirt under it while running in 25-50 degrees. Also a nice every day jacket. The only problem is that the stitching is coming out on the sleeves; not surprised since it was made in CHINA. Arc'teryx should stick with Cananda made. I own a lot of Arc'terxy gear all of it is good except the stuff made in China. I have stuff made in Cananda, Thailand, USA and its all good.

Arc'teryx + China = JUNK

Arc'teryx Gamma LT Softshell Pant - Men's

Arc'teryx Gamma LT Softshell Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 November 5, 2009

Nice material, pants are designed great. I like how stretchy they are and block wind well. Except for the stitching that is coming out. Arc'teryx should think twice about doing business with China. They are a good company and are starting to sell out for less quality. Arc'teryx has alway's been high quality, just all the Arc'teryx clothing I have that was made in China is crap and will be returning.

Great 3 season jacket!

Arc'teryx Beta LT Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Beta LT Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 20, 2008

This jacket fits great! I am 5'10" 210 lbs; athletic. It may be on the shorter side if you are taller, but fits me good and not to tight. I normally like an XL, but this fits nice for warmer weather. I had the Pack-lite jacket, but found the pro shell gore-tex to be much more sturdy and packs just as small.

Arc'teryx Alpha SL Jacket - Men's

August 6, 2008

I wore this jacket on ONE HIKE 12 miles, and when I returned it was ripped on the back! Nice material, but made for delicate people! Won't hold up to a beating! I like how light and small it is, but I'm going for the gortex pro.
