so my buddy gave me a mint condition 167 Burton FL project and told me I could split it. I know the FL was the top of the line model about a decade ago. I don't know about the core and how well it will split, although if I remember, the FL project had some carbon stringers and a weird hybrid core. Any ideas on if this board will split well? Just found out it is from the year 2000.

my main concern with a bivy is not in keeping me dry in a 10 hour downpour. Rather it is to protect my down bag from splashes coming off a tarp/open floor shelter/ snowcave/ dew, etc.

Problem is that I am a warm sleeper and my down bag is notorious for not breathing very well by itself. Therefore, i need to make sure the bivy sack I buy can breath really well. Does anyone know how this BD fabric compares to eVEnt or membrain? I am desperately trying to avoid the dreaded bivy condensation

Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Sack DO NOT USE

Trying to find what size i should get for my extra clothes that i could use for a 3-4 night trek with bulky winter clothes. Anyone got any suggestions? Also, I know they're not designed to be compression sacks, but most dry-bags compress gear a bit. What's the verdict on the compressibility of these? Thanks!
