These things are a great idea but the implementation sucks. The plugs have two drawbacks.
1. The seam line is inline with the pull string. you can rip the string out tearing the hole.
2. They MELT! That is right! If you have them in say your zip bag on your seat and your seat back gets hot from the sun (Imagine that). They loose their form and don't work. Now I am not saying they melt in your hand like chocolate but if they are in your car or some other place where it gets hot don't count on them lasting too long.

If you can keep them from melting or tearing they do the job and work great!

Great Kayak

Ocean Kayak Malibu 2 XL Tandem Kayak

Ocean Kayak Malibu 2 XL Tandem Kayak

Rating for this product: 5 May 21, 2009

This Kayak is the bomb. Fits two adults and two smaller children in laps just fine! Make sure you get a bright color or you become invisible to the crazy boaters. Been trying to find someone to take out with a kite surfing kite but no loons have volunteered yet. This kayak can take a beating. There are some drawbacks but nothing you do not get in any other SOT kayak. This puppy is a bit awkward to load yourself but you can do it. Get the Malone racks or Thule J racks and you will not have any issues. A smaller sea anchor is handy to keep you from getting blown to far if you just want to sit. Oh dont get the scupper plugs from Ocean Kayak they "melt" if the get too hot in the sun. just use chair caps the kind on folding chairs to plug the holes or a closed cell foam.

The biggest difference between the 2 and 2xl is weight capacity. To get this they use a bigger boat so it is heavier....

Good table

ALPS Mountaineering Camp Table

ALPS Mountaineering Camp Table

Rating for this product: 4 February 27, 2009

Good table. Has worked well for us. Only issue are the plastic nubs that hold the table top to the legs. They tend to be loose and make me worry about loosing one. With out the nubs the table top will not work that well. Otherwise good table for the price!!!!!
