Excellent backpack

The North Face Surge Backpack - 2150cu in

The North Face Surge Backpack - 2150cu in

I have the previous generation (which looks a little different but is essentially the same pack) and it has worked great. I use it for college, and it holds a lot of stuff well. Laptop pocket is well padded, holds two Nalgenes. Also works well for day-hiking and travel and the outside is water-resistant. It's a keeper.

Not all that warm, but looks good.

The North Face Impulse Fleece Jacket - Men's

This jacket is only about as warm as a standard sweatshirt or light fleece. However, it looks good and the fit is nice - not too loose, but not way too tight.

Great boots

The North Face Chilkats Boot - Men's

The North Face Chilkats Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 9, 2008

Very warm, very waterproof, great grip, and really comfortable. Work great as standard snow boots. They work decently for cold-weather hiking with or without snow, though they're on the heavy side. Overall, a great boot for the price, definitely recommended.
