DAKINE Home Grown Soy Stick Wax - 2oz
January 4, 2012
this is a "rub-on" type wax. "rub-on" usually does not last for more than 1-2 runs... stick with iron-type waxes.

Burton Custom Flying V Snowboard
November 20, 2011
What do u mean "legit"??? Like if the boards are real or fake? I've bought lots of things from backcountry and I can tell you EVERYTHING they sell is LEGIT. As for the info being different, u were prob looking at the "camber version" of the same board.

Lib Technologies Skate Banana BTX Snowboard - Assorted Bananas
August 10, 2011
58 should be the perfect size for you, especially if you do more all mt riding. I would only do 56 if majority of your riding is done in the park. the 58 will be a little more "stable" during warp speed down the hill, then again, it's BTX so it's not gonna be that stable to start with. Lib makes GREAT boards, cant' go wrong with either size.

Lib Technologies TRS C2BTX Snowboard
March 4, 2011
From what I've read, Dark Series is a little bit stiffer and it has a different base. TRS uses the TNT (extrude)base while DS uses a Sinter UHMW base. (from my personal experience, I don't like the extrude style bases cuz they tend not to hold wax as well and so there's an issue with constant "maintenance")
DS also has something called the ORG riser thing at the binding holes.(don't ask me what it does cuz I have no idea... haha) and I think TRS is a center stance board and DS might be set-back? please correct me if I'm wrong...

Burton Fish Snowboard DO NOT USE
April 21, 2010
you might want to look into a malolo... there are a few more choices for sizes than the fish. worst comes to worst, try lookin' for a women specific malolo. (I'm not trying to be a dick but I think the women's version comes in a 149...)

go with the SK8 naner! X8 is a GREAT board but you'll also need to buy EST bindings to put the Burton ICS system to use. (imo, if you use reg bindings with ICS it's a waste on the board...)
I've owned 08-09 Naner it's a great board and you won't be disappointed! I'm currently riding 09-10 Custom V, 57 Joystick and 57 TRS BTX. Burton boards are great and the bases are fast and durable on them but Mag is an absolutely amazing invention!!! go with the naner!

February 17, 2010
I think the SK8 naners are considered a "mid-wide"... (I could be totally wrong...) a 156/159 has a width of 25.5 and the "wide" version is 26.5. i think if you wear a 10.5 boot there's no need to get a wide in this board. can you cruised down to your local store and check it out? personally if I weight 170 I would go with a 156. just my .02...

Lib Technologies TRS BTX Snowboard
February 16, 2010
LIB board RIP period! you'll LOVE this board. we're pretty close in weight and I rode a SK8 banana 159 for 40+ days last season and it was FUN for EVERYTHING!!! keep in mind one thing about Lib boards is that the base will be "slower" than your Custom X... This Year I'm ridin' the Custy Vrocker and I have to admit, Burton bases are da sh*t...

you need to figure what you like to ride first? Park? Steeps? BC? groomers? POW? think about what you ride the most and go from there.
Considering your weight I would go with a 156, may be in a wide... I'm 5'-8" 185lb, wears 9.5 boots and rode the 08-09 SK8 banana in a 159 for everything i listed above and it was great!

Burton Malolo Snowboard
September 10, 2009
Yes, but the whole purpose of buying the ICS set-up is to use the adjustability of Burton's EST bindings... just sell the ride bindings and scoop up some EST's from last year, IT'LL BE WORTH IT!!!
when you bought the board it should of came with a small package with "regular" binding adaptors(I'm not sure what they're called...)

Not a great idea. The board is over rated. IT is only good for sloppy riding. If you do not have much skill and don't care about building any go for it.don't listen to this douche bag! try it out on your own, people hate on brands for the dumbest reasons... Lib has several models that has the BTX-MTX combo in a wide. I've ridden the Trice, TRS, and Skate Banana, they are all great boards! "there's no sloppy riding, only sloppy riders!" Ocho Lopez you're a certified douche!

I'm 5'8" 190 and I ride a 159 LIB Banana just fine, I "think"(please correct me if I'm wrong.) the BTX (Banana Tech) allows you to ride the board 3cms shorter. I rode some pow (the NW Cascade Concrete) today and it handled fine.I think the TRS or Trice or Lando 161 might be a better fit... again, correct me if I'm wrong!

Lib Technologies 1986 Snow Mullet BTX Snowboard

Def go longer, esp for a powder stick.. how much depends on where and how you ride.A 72 is a bit long for riding the trees. It rips through deep powder thou - make you feel like superman.I'm not sure if that applies for the BTX boards... I think with BTX boards you can ride 3cm shorter than you typically do/would.
