Smith Interlock Trace Sunglasses - Polarized

Smith Interlock Trace Sunglasses - Polarized

I really enjoy these glasses. They are comfortably and stay on my face skiing or bending down in the stream. One thing to consider they do have interchangeable lenses, but to buy other polarized replacements can get pricey. I bought the traces with the polarized grey lenses and they don't work great for fly fishing as they are too dark. The photochromic copper replacement lenses are $70.00 retail. So when buying these glasses make sure you get the lenses you want the first time.

Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Hooded Down Jacket - Men's

May 6, 2009

Neal, I am 6'1 and 175lbs. 33 waist. I tried on multiple mediums in this jacket because I didn't want to get a jacket that was too bulky, but the medium was too short at the waist and in the arms. I bought the large and it is a perfect fit, it doesn't see too big at all. In fact, if I raise my arms over my head the waist still comes up a little, so i think the large is the right choice

great boot

Asolo TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boot - Men's

Asolo TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 6, 2009

I bought these boots 2 seasons ago and like the other reviews they are great boots ready to go right out of the box. They are true to size. I recommend super feet if you are going to hike a lot. I wore these boots to guide backpacking trips in colorado for two summers, Probably 300 or so miles and I wore the boots out. So, that leads me to my question. I need a boot that I can hike 150 miles plus a season that is going to last more than two seasons. Ive been looking at the La Sportiva Glacier Evo, does anyone have advice on a boot that could perform like the Asolo, but is going to stand up to the abuse?

Patagonia R1 Fleece Pullover - Men's

Patagonia R1 Fleece Pullover - Men's

this is the best layering piece I've ever owned! I wear this top at least 3 to 5 times a week for about 8 months. It is my go to piece for skiing, fishing, climbing, whatever.

should be called "out on the town" jacket

Patagonia Stretch Velocity Full-Zip Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Stretch Velocity Full-Zip Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 May 4, 2009

This is great looking jacket but I've been disappointed with how it's held up. It piles horribly when worn under a shell. I layered with it maybe 10 times while skiing this winter and it is already looking pretty bad. Love the look and fit (which runs small) but I would buy the buy the Patagonia R1 Flash pullover instead for a true layering piece.
