Carbon will be stronger than aluminum in all cases. Its a woven network rather than an extruded metal so it will keep its flexibility even at low temps where aluminum would be brittle

It is directional in the fact thats its almost purely for skiing forwards. Its twin tip in the fact that the tail is turned up a bit so if you do a bit of messing around going switch you wont hang the tail up on a lil bump or something

Thats really a ski for bigger heavier folks like me (6'2" 250lbs) I think you would find it hard to get playful...it would be a bit sluggish in the tight stuff if you know what I mean. Try to size down to the 184 and you will love them
