Black Diamond MesaTent: 2-Person 3-Season
November 1, 2011
We have been in a couple of ugly rainstorms and I feel very secure in this tent. The worst was 8+ hours and water was running all around the tent. Lots of room too.

Scarpa Mont Blanc GTX Boot - Men's
October 30, 2011
I wear an 11.5 usually, sometimes 11, occasionally 12. I wear a 45.5 in the Scarpa Charmoz (which is a different last than the Mont Blanc.) Scarpa says 45.5 is = 11 2/3 U.S. sizing. I have tried the Mont Blanc in 45 and 45.5. I think if you usually want more toe room (length) get the 45.5, otherwise the 45.

MSR Hubba Hubba HP Tent 2-Person 3-Season
September 2, 2011
The HP is in the current MSR lineup but now it is only sold in Europe. They told me that they didn't sell enough of them in the US. I have a single. It is possibly the best designed tent I have ever seen. I wanted to get the 2 person version but no luck.

Arc'teryx Alpha SV Bib - Men's
April 18, 2008
No problem, I use them with Garmont Excursions and have snow climbed in deep snow with no problem, cinch the drawcord down. I also sometimes use a velcro strap around outside at the bottom at .2 ounce each, the ultimate ultralight gaiter. The bibs have grommets on the bottom for a strap under the instep but I haven't used that.If they are mainly for day skiing you might consider the heavier duty Arcteryx bibs.
