  • Stomping Grounds:

Snowbird; Wasatch Front; Salt Lake City, UT
  • Bio:

I injured my foot back in January when I dropped a 25lb. plate on my foot. Yikes! Needless to say I went through 3 depressing weeks of no activity. Being active is what gets me going.

I love snow sports. I've been snowboarding for about 7 years and just love it. I'm thinking about trying out telemark skiing. I'd love to challenge my legs even more! When I miss those summer hikes, I get my snowshoes, my group of snowshoe girls and hit one of the Cottonwood canyons. Also, I'd love to try backcountry snowboarding...

Spring/Summer time...time for triathlons. I have to say my favorite part is road biking, although my parents threw me in the pool at age 4, and have played sports which required endurance since I was young. Camping and hiking are great...especially around southern UT. If I'm not up for the drive, the Wasatch front is always awesome!

Maybe I walk funny, but I kept hitting the back of the opposite snow shoe with the back of the snow shoe each time I walked. It was really annoying hearing the clunk each time I walked...Maybe they were too long? Anyhow, I ended up returning them. They also kicked up a lot of snow as others have mentioned in their reviews.
