Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 3, 2009

I was sitting on these babies in hopes that I would have a real chance to test them out. The opportunity came on an all nighter up Mt. Fuji, Japan. Through cold, heavy rain, thick and loose gravel these beasts held up. After 12 straight hours of hiking up and down I had 0 blisters. I allowed myself a self-indulgent scoff at the mountain after I had made it safely down. My comfort was in large part due to these great shoes.
I have especially flat feet and these were comfortable, dry, and supportive throughout the whole journey.
Hope this is helpful to my fellow cave-man-footed humans out there.

SmartWool Adrenaline Light Mini Sock

SmartWool Adrenaline Light Mini Sock

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2008

I initially bought these cuz they were on sale, but when I wore them. I had to buy a couple more pair even though they were more expensive. The extra padding in the heel and forefoot is awesome... I wear an 11.5 so I bought the L. They fit perfectly.

Disappointed

YAKTRAX Yaktrax Heat Adjustable Insole

YAKTRAX Yaktrax Heat Adjustable Insole

Was looking forward to sculpted comfort, but I think these guys fell short. I haven't used these for anything hi-impact, but for everyday walking/hiking wear they don't give enough support. (read: my feet hurt at the end of the day)Go to your local retailer and get some gel insoles.

Horny Toad Vinyl T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Horny Toad Vinyl T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Love the shirt design and very soft cotton. Before buying I read another review that these shirts run large so I got a medium. It fits, but barely. Go with your normal size, unless you're going for the muscle shirt look.

A good bag,..could be better for the price

Crumpler Dreadful Embarrassment Laptop Bag - 976cu in

Crumpler Dreadful Embarrassment Laptop Bag - 976cu in

Rating for this product: 4 May 2, 2008

Don't get me wrong. I really like the bag and am convinced this is one of the best bags I could have purchased for my 15.4" lenovo. It fits very snuggly in the compartment and there's LOTS of extra space to carry other goodies, e.g. paperwork, newspapers, mp3 player, the whole-nine. You can tell by inspecting the bag that it is very well made with quality materials and won't fall apart anytime soon.

Anyway, my qualms with the bag are in two specific areas. I don't feel like there is enough padding on the rear side of the bag that's hitting your leg all the time as you walk. The other qualm, I wish, wish, wish there was a quick grab handle on the top. I underestimated the convenience of having one when I bought the bag.

All-in-All a great bag. Crumpler lives up to the reputation.
