Millet Radikal Boot - Men's

How would these be for hiking Colorado 14er peaks in the winter? Not too much technical, but crampons on ridges and long winter approaches? Also, Do you normally get these a little large?

They Grip

Black Diamond Ascension Nylon STS Skins

Black Diamond Ascension Nylon STS Skins

Rating for this product: 5 January 20, 2010

These look very durable and grip very well. My friend skis with the nylon mix by BD and he definitely has a little more glide. As for grip, I'm not sure. We have not skinned anything too steep yet this season.

Solid

Black Diamond Fritschi Diamir Freeride Plus Binding

Rating for this product: 5 January 20, 2010

These feel great on everything. Ive skied steep, flat and everything in between with these. I mounted the reg brake width on my BD Kilowatts (95 underfoot) and the brake did not even need bending. They feel very solid and the extra height is not noticeable, unless it may actually help with putting more power to the ground. My friend has the Marker Barons and he was very jealous of the ability to change to free heel without taking the skis off and my ease of adjusting the climbing bar with my poles instead of stopping and bending over like he has to. The look durable but time will be the test of this one.

Big Bowl

Ruffwear Quencher Cinch Top Dog Bowl

Rating for this product: 4 January 20, 2010

it works great for traveling and car camping. The bowl holds enough food for 3-4 days for my border collie/ springer mix. Only problem is you may need another bowl to limit how much food the pup eats if you have a full load.

Collar

Ruffwear Knot-A-Just Dog Collar

Rating for this product: 4 January 20, 2010

It look nice and the dog doesn't seem to mind. I wish I would have purchased one size larger and tightened it town so that there would be more rope and less flat rope. It sits nice on my border collie/ springer mix's coat.
