  • Stomping Grounds:

Schoharie County NY, Adirondack Mountain Range NY
  • Bio:

I'm mostly a hiker/camper, as well as a caver and cave digger. I also hunt, fish, and ridge walk. There's nothing better than listening to nordic black metal under a night sky with good friends and good beers. Cheers!!!

not for the cold

The North Face Trajectory Hybrid Jacket - Men's

The North Face Trajectory Hybrid Jacket - Men's

i got this for winter mountaineering, since the north face website said its good for aerobic cold condition, but its pretty much a tech style rain jacket for damp trail runs, NOT for the cold.

good for casual use

Mountain Hardwear Trail Gaiter High

Mountain Hardwear Trail Gaiter High

Rating for this product: 3 September 21, 2009

not the best for rough hikes or snow deeper than calf height. good however for trail running and looking cool i guess, if that's what you're into. not as tall as they appear to be, but for price, not bad for a casual use around the yard in the not-so-hard-winter. for a serious set of gaiters look elsewhere.

worth the $$$

Julbo Sherpa Sunglasses - Spectron 3+ Lens

Julbo Sherpa Sunglasses - Spectron 3+ Lens

i got these as a more inexpensive set of shades for all seasons. the wrap around ear pieces are flexible rubber and will not fall off your face. the side shades come off easy for warm weather, and it comes with a handy dandy hard shell case. definitely worth the $$$, i love mine.
