I'm a Wannabe Backcountry Babe- a Roadie wanting to MTB more and a long-time alpine skier taking up tele. I've raced up 14,000+ ft Mt Evans on my bike a few times and am now on the 14er bandwagon hiking my first one this summer. I am not a gearhead with more stuff than I need. Rather, I'm a minimalist. But when I do need something, I want the best. That's why I like backcountry.com- great stuff, good prices.
