I like it....fun board to ride. Very responsive. It was a life saver on hard semi-ice packed slopes. It is pretty fast too and easy to ride. Though I liked my old Gnu, I have way more control on this board.

Burton Triad Snowboard Binding

Burton Triad Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 July 13, 2009

I have these from two years ago. They work well and are extremely comfortable. Easy on and off and work really well for me. Im not a huge trick rider, I mostly just cruise down the mountain with out doing any tricks. So all these bad reviews might be from guys who do more extreme stuff than me. None the less, if you can get them on clearance, it's a good buy. Some of the colors are lame to me...but I guess other people might like them.

The One!

MSR DragonFly Stove

MSR DragonFly Stove

Rating for this product: 5 July 13, 2009

Works awesome!! It is not as loud as a lot of people make it sound. It is sort of loud, but not more then you would expect a stove that is designed like that to be. I mean they are very small and put out a ton of heat. Being able to adjust the heat is priceless. It also works well in wind, Ive never had it blow out on me...but regardless it come with a wind shield which helps that out anyways. The fact that it burns just about everything makes it a no brainer as well....you can pretty much get fuel anywhere you are in the world. I guess it a little bulky for backpacking compared to something like a pocket rocket, but your also not limited to isopropyl canisters either. Only complaint is that the pot holders are a little too wide for smaller cups, sauce pans, and coffee makers. The really small ones fit, but barely..you just have to be careful making sure they are perfectly centered.

As comfortable as they get!

Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Fleece Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 13, 2009

I've worn it as the the only coat on many occasions when it's well below zero and still stayed warm...which is unreal considering its a fleece. It is so comfortable and form fitting. It fits tight at the right places making is very easy to use as a base coat when your wearing layers. My girlfriend wore out her first(now for outdoors and sleeping in) and is on her second one (for everyday in town use) already....I think she wanted another color and that was her excuse. She wears it ALL the time! I think it is a weird coat because you are ALWAYS the perfect temperature.

Review Title

Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork Trekking Pole

Rating for this product: 4 July 13, 2009

They are lightweight and strong. Very easy to adjust. Ive read reviews where people complain that they vibrate too much and makes them tired, but on all the rocks Ive been on..Ive never experienced this problem. Ive lost my balance once or twice and put all my weight on them and they didn't flinch. The only negative is I slipped on a rock and wiped out going down a mountain. I ended up scratching off some cork on the handle and cutting the foam grip thats under the cork. The carbon fiber seems to get scratched easily and can actually be cut. Bottom line is that on sharp rocks they can be some what fragile...but that could be expected I guess. Also my hands tend to sweat a little, and I don't know if it's the cork that causes it or if owning the foam hand grips would be the same story since these are my first trekking poles. Regardless...I think they are a great product!

The Best!!

Gerber Camp Axe

Gerber Camp Axe

Rating for this product: 5 July 9, 2009

This axe is simply awesome....It is extremely sharp, lightweight, and durable. You can cut through 4 to 5 in. logs with relative ease. The heavy steel axes can wear you out after chopping for a while...they are more for blunt force and cause you to use more energy...This just cuts right through wood. This size is prefct for getting most firewood, but I plan to get the full size Gerber axe eventually to see how it is at splitting logs.
