I wouldn't choose another

Suunto Vector Strap Kit - Elastic Band

Suunto Vector Strap Kit - Elastic Band

Rating for this product: 5 March 25, 2008

I've had about 6 of these bands. As a ski patroller, these bands work well when layering up and off again quickly as conditions change. come summer there is no 'gunk build-up' as has been reported by a lot of guys in Iraq wearing the leather bands.

It has it's limitations - I use this band w/ my X-Lander over time and hard use the strap material can begin to fail at the corners, then it's time to get another one.

The upshot? I wouldn't have another band, it's versatility, comfort and usability make it an optimal choice.
