Stoic Welder Lo Softshell - Men's
April 13, 2011
The black and green color combo is Great Looking! I get compliments on my jacket just walking around NYC. If you ask me, that's the color that should be $100 more.

Stoic Welder Lo Softshell - Men's
April 13, 2011
This jacket has a very athletic cut. I have a 40 or 41 inch chest and I got the large which fits exactly how I want it to, but I can't comfortably fit a heavyweight fleece under there. Also, the cut of the forearms and wrists is pretty narrow, which is not conducive to Midlayers. A 100 or 200 weight fleece tops. In general though, if you're in between sizes you should usually go UP when it comes to stoic gear.

CamelBak Podium ChillJacket Insulated Water Bottle - 21oz
April 13, 2011
The outer plastic of the bottle is clear, but you can't see the water level, you can only see the thermal layer that keeps you cold.

The North Face Classic Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's
April 13, 2011
Of course they're Authentic. Backcountry sells alot of discontinued colors, but they can also negotiate better prices because they are such a large volume retailer. Beyond that, the markup on TNF gear is huge, especially the Denali. I bet it costs under $10 to manufacture.

The North Face Classic Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's
April 13, 2011
Many Windstopper or Similar windblocking fleece jackets will be less bulky than the denali, but just as warm in standard conditions and even warmer in windy conditions. My personal favorite is the Pamir windstopper Jacket from TNF, which is priced similarly to the Denali, but is on sale for $125 on BC as I write this.

The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's
April 13, 2011
Throw any windproof shell over it and you're good down to near Zero. I wore that combo to a Packers game in December (Baselayer, Denali, North Face Mountain Light Shell and of course my Clay Matthews Jersey) and was toasty warm. With Windchill it was -3 I think.

I Agree, I'm 6'1 175 and my Denali is a Medium.

The North Face Khumbu Fleece Jacket - Men's
April 12, 2011
This jacket runs a little bit smaller than the Denali. I wear a medium denali, but the medium khumbu is to short to cover my t-shirt and the sleeve length is about an inch shorter. (I'm 6'1-6'2). I think the khumbu is intended as a layering piece and the denali more of a standalone jacket. If you're tall and skinny i'd go with a Large.

Marmot Troll Wall Jacket - Men's
April 12, 2011
Definitely. The hood is contoured too, so it's not all big and floppy like some hoods. When you wear a helmet and you turn your head with the hood on, you can still see...which is nice.

I keep my 15.4" Wide-Screen notebook in there with an extended battery. I would say that is pretty close to the max size. I don't think you'll fit a 17"

High Society FR Ski
April 12, 2011
It's not a mogul ski per se, it's a freeride ski, but if you go a little shorter on length, they're pretty good in the bumps while still letting you ski powder. I have 'em in 179 and I was doing well in the moguls at jackson (and I'm not much of a mogul skier).
