Even though I used the happy chart to determine fit, I ordered the size the chart recommended and found it was too small--too short, really, so I should have ordered a 12 instead of a 10. The gloves seemed nice enough and well-made and pretty warm, if a little too nice: I think I would have been embarrassed to be out in public with such shiny white marshmallows on my hands. And the wrist straps, while nice, would have been a real pain: for what I was going to use these for, I'm better off removing the mittens rather than having them dangling from my wrists and in the way of doing what I need to do . . . and not using the wrist straps would mean I'd have wrist straps dangling in the way, or I'd have to hike up my sleeve to get them off. A good feature for some people, but not for me.
