Replacing the cotton briefs

ExOfficio Give-N-Go Boxer Brief - Men's

ExOfficio Give-N-Go Boxer Brief - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 2, 2010

In a previous review I said that I was planning on replacing every cotton brief in my drawer with the ExO GiveNGo boxer briefs. I'm following through with that promise. I recently ordered 4 more pair - now I have 6 pair. I absolutely love them. Sweat wicks away rapidly, and even when working outside in the Alabama heat & humidity, they don't retain the manly stench. Fit is fantastic. They are a MUST HAVE!

Perfect "fit" for my Africa trip

ExOfficio Insect Shield Halo Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 8, 2010

Took 2 of these shirts to Kenya & southern Sudan, and they were perfect. In Sudan the temperature was above 100 degrees, and this shirt performed great! Moisture wicked away, no mosquito problem, light weight, UV protection, & plenty of pocket space. In Kenya the Halo Shirt was comfortable in the heat of day and cool of the evening. For the 9 day trip I took 2 Halo shirts, 2 Give-N-Go boxer briefs, and 2 pair of the Insect Shield Convertible pants. They are light weight and take up very little space in a back-pack. At night I washed the briefs and shirts by hand with my body soap and hung them on a hanger. The briefs were totally dry in 1.5-2 hrs and the shirts were dry, smelled fresh, and were ready to wear in the morning. I didn't try hand washing the pants - I'll have to try that sometime to see how fast they dry. The reason the shirt appears to sag in the front (in my picture) is that the pockets are loaded down with food & other stuff:).

Best underwear ever!

ExOfficio Give-N-Go Boxer Brief - Men's

ExOfficio Give-N-Go Boxer Brief - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 22, 2010

These are the best underwear ever! Every other brand of boxer brief I've worn feel fine when you first put them on, but after a few hours they begin to sag and the boys end up trapped between the brief's leg and my inner thigh - constant re-arrangement required. However, with these briefs, everything stays in place without being too tight. As others have mentioned, you'll feel like you have virtually nothing on. The wicking action is great too - whether I was in the 100 degrees plus of southern Sudan or on the plane ride to Nairobi. I only took 2 pair for a nine day trip - easily washed by hand in a sink and totally dry in 1.5-2 hr. Despite the cost, I'm going to gradually replace every pair of underwear in my drawer with these. No more damp smelly cotton for me!

Worth every penny

Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Micro Bib Bike Short - Men's

Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Micro Bib Bike Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 17, 2008

A friend kept telling me "once you try bibs, you'll never go back to regular shorts". Boy was he right. No more elastic cutting into your abdomen. Another pleasant surprise with these bibs is the shape of the pad - it is contoured better than the pad in other biking shorts. You don't feel like you have a huge wad of fabric crammed between your thighs.
