Bio:
Its hard to be into outdoor climbing living in Orlando so I am often in the car driving 10+ hours to some place to climb or planning the next trip. Love the outdoors and do anything and everything from camping, to mountain biking, to scuba diving, but climbing being my all time favorite. I'm at about a v6 level on the boulders and 5.12 on a good day when you catch me in a harness. Not the strongest but I think it decent for living somewhere with only plastic, indoor rocks! I'm a relatively poor college student who spends a lot of his money on this site! I've even sold textbooks to buy gear!

Nap-able
Black Diamond Momentum Harness
March 26, 2009
While good for climbing and belaying I would say it does well on some crag naps.

prAna Sonora Pant - Men's
March 24, 2009
Here are the Sonora's grinding up against some sharp rock on Hammerhead at HP40. Didn't ride up in the crotch with that high left foot either. I think I wore them on a date after this trip. I may not have even washed them for it...

Black Diamond FreeWire Quickdraw
March 24, 2009
Here are the FreeWires mixed in with a few other older Metolius ones. The FreeWires are super light in comparison. Even though I don't have enough on to really notice any difference in weight.

Five Ten VMile Climbing Shoe
March 24, 2009
I had these with me at Rocktown and were fine even though they are listed as a trad shoe. I've really but a beating on my pair. This picture is when they were still pretty new.

Evolv Optimus Prime Climbing Shoe

Toe hook setting up for a throw to a nasty little pocket on Hammerhead at HP 40. Face isn't in the picture but its the best shot I have of the shoe. I promise it's me.

Five Ten Anasazi VCS Climbing Shoe
March 27, 2009
Probably. Since they are comparable models within the same brand I'm sure the sizing is pretty close. If the 8.5 were too tight then yea definitely go up. Although finding a local vendor that has them would be good so you can actually try them on. Anasazis are found almost everywhere. Try them out in person if you can then come back online and get a better deal!

Scarpa SL M3 Backpacking Boots - Men's
March 27, 2009
Well I know Scarpa is an Italian brand but I'm not sure if they outsource their manufacturing like a lot of other industries. I would bet either Italy or the US.

CamelBak Hydrobak Hydration Pack
March 27, 2009
To be honest I would most likely just run some clean water through it if there is nothing built up in it. If you have some buildup maybe let some white vinegar sit in there for a few minutes and then rinse it all out. Or bleach. Either way just rinse it out reallllly good so you don't get that awful taste!
or if you want to spend money. go for this cleaning kit. http://www.backcountry.com/store/CAM0239/CamelBak-Hydration-

Black Diamond Forearm Trainer
March 26, 2009
I saw on the other site given by Matthew the resistance weight on the three in the set but they are all different colors. Does anyone know about what it is for this blue one? or at how hard it is?

The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Men's
March 26, 2009
My roommate bought this one recently and I thought it was a 2009 but I guess not. It has the wrist velcro. Looking carefully at the ones with the white zipper strings it looks like they are smaller at the cuff like maybe they are a little elastic but the north face website lists velcro adjustable cuffs next to these same pictures. Maybe it's on the back this year?
