Dogsledding in Canada

Sorel Caribou Boot - Women's

Sorel Caribou Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2008

I traveled from sunny California to Banff, Canada for Christmas where it was -15 F and found that Sorel's are to Canada what flip-flops are to California. These were the boots of choice for the dogsledding team that thought -15 F was a WARM day for the winter. My feet were warm and cute the entire trip. I got the Caribou in the Elderberry color and I never wanted to take them off. They run a size large so I got a 7 instead of an 8 and they were perfect w/a pair of merino wool socks (don't wear cotton in cold weather). P.S.- the bubble cleats kept me from slipping in the ice even once!
