I'm interested in the North Face Amplitude Triclimate Jacket - Men's and wanted to know if you thought it would be overkill in rainey but not so much snowy climates of the Pacific Northwest. I would also use it at the coast a lot.

Could this jacket also serve well in springtime transitional times in rainey Pacific Northwest climates? Seems to be the ideal jacket. Just didn't want to think it was overkill.
