Ruffwear Palisades Pack II

Ruffwear Palisades Pack II

No problems. My lab can carry her own load! She doesn't mind wearing it and it's easy to take the pack off when it's not needed.

Great Filter!

MSR SweetWater Microfilter

MSR SweetWater Microfilter

Rating for this product: 4 March 23, 2009

I've had this filter for 9 years, works great. At first it was hard to pump and keep the clean tube in the bottle at the same time. Now I attach the clean tube right into the port of a camelback or platypus bag. The bag lays on the ground and I only have to pump, which is pretty easy with this filter. Used in the South East U.S. and I've never gotten sick.
note: I do use Polar Pure iodine if I have serious doubts about the water. Iodine tastes really bad.

KEEN Targhee ll Mid Hiking Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 March 17, 2009

Not durable at all. The soles started to come apart after 20 miles on the trail.
I e-mailed Keen and they sent me a different model boot. They do have good customer service

Too thin

Big Agnes Air Core Pillow

Big Agnes Air Core Pillow

Rating for this product: 3 October 6, 2008

The pillow is the same thickness as the pad, like other have said let some air out fold in half and put in a stuff sack. It's light weight and takes up very little room. I like it better then my thermarest pillow.
