Ozark Mountains Arkansas

As everyone else on this site, I can't be inside. I am outside every day all day and can't get enough of whatever Mother Nature puts in my path. I live in Arkansas in a pretty remote area, its about five miles to the nearest pavement. Ozark Mountains is a great area for outdoor freaks like me, I am not your ordinary backpacker/Hiker. Most of my time is spent building roads were only 4X4 can go, or logging the area. A lot of my time is hiking in to the area were I am going to build my cabin, staying for several days and then hiking back out. I love Back Country gear they have supplied me with the products I need to Survive in areas where people don't go and do things normal people don't do. This summer I will spend several weeks at a time logging the property and making new roads before I emerge back to civilization. I wish all of you Many happy trails and Much Love.

I spent a weekend Kayaking on the river and it rained on us the entire time. This stove is more than worth the money, It lights easy, every time I used it the wind was blowing at around 3-5 mph and it was raining, (I don't have a windscreen either) and let me tell you this little baby gets hot very fast and also has a great simmer as well. Great product for summer weekend or week long trips.

Frozen Light

Petzl MYO 3 Headlamp

We had a very bad ice storm in my area this year, knocked out our power for 11 days and the ice busted valves on my propane take and it leaked completely empty. So it was a bit of an emergency to get the trucks down the dirt road which we spent 16-18 hours a days for three days to get to black top. Ice was coming down on us the entire time, and this lamp never one time failed me, it was plenty enough light to run my chainsaw safely, and the Halogen is 90 feet plus, I used it to direct tractor help all night. This lamp is amazing it froze to my hard hat many times and I never had any trouble at all. CRAZY story GREAT PRODUCT!!!
