Radical ST vs FT? The answer seems obvious for the big guys, but I am 155 pounds minus pack in winter insulation mode. I will mount them on K2 Coombacks but am a reasonably aggressive skier (no big hucks, straightlines though. Will be 70/30 touring vs resort, and switching back and forth between Tele gear (yeah, I want it both ways...) Thanks

I am considering the MontBell permafrost, the the Mountain Hardwear Phantom, and the Feathered Friends Helios Jacket. I am looking for a light packable but warm jacket for BC skiing, hut trips, and yes, cold days in town. All are about a pound. Does anyone know the fill weight on the Permafrost and the Mountain Hardwear Phantom? FF lists 8 oz of fill.

I have narrowed my search down to this, the the Mountain Hardwear Phantom, and the Feathered Friends Helios Jacket. I am looking for a light packable but warm jacket for BC skiing, hut trips, and yes, cold days in town. Does anyone know the fill weight on the Permafrost and the Mountain Hardwear Phantom?

I am sorely tempted by these skis to replace my BD Crossbows.

Atomic RT86 Ski

I am sorely tempted by these skis to replace my BD Crossbows. I like the CBs for their quickness and versatility, but they sink a bit in pow and get banged around some in crud. I am 5'9", 155lbs - any advice on length for the RT86 for 50/50 Utah resorts and backcountry with big boots (EnerG)

How does this compare to the Hestra heli glove? I ski back and front side in Utah and Colorado, hands run a bit cold. Loved my Marmot ultimates, but they are packed out and only warm enough for spring now.
