Rossignol 2011/12 S7 Ski

If the oxygen tank means that you tire easily, go with the 178cm for easiest skiing and completely adequate float and speed in powder. I ski the 178cm mounted at the back line, 140lbs

IMO, a person your size would do better to stick with major manufacturers.

you'll buy those and still prefer your Shoguns, IMO. Get something more like the Shogun if you like them, based on feel of the ski, but in the 115mm width you need. you on a 184 would be a total disaster. I'm a man, but small, so relate to how a ski feels for a smaller or lighter (finesse technique) person.

Dynastar 6th Sense Huge Rocker Ski
August 8, 2011
the 175 is about the same length as the LPR 176cm, but it includes a full tip/tail, therefore is effectively like a 170. If you train at all for skiing, these will rock for you. they are relatively stiff and heavy compared to others in this class of ski. I ski the 175, weigh 135, 5'2" of pure power, ;) , and I love the skis; never wanted anything else when I'm out on them. I don't enjoy shouldering them, however.

Dynastar 6th Sense Huge Ski

If you strand up a pair of these base to base, you will see about 3/4" gap between them. However, this small amount of camber is very soft and requires almost no weight or power to flatten it out, effectively no camber when you are skiing them. although skis are hand matched to create pairs with the same camber in each set, from pair to pair some variation in camber exists. thus people seem to detect pairs having flat camber or slight camber. I ski this ski on powder days.

SmartWool PhD Ski Ultra Light Sock
November 8, 2008
how thin is this sock. their cushion light model is pretty thick, perhaps the cushion designation indicates that. I want something not a whole lot thicker than nylons, suuuuper thin that is.
