Okay, I am short, busty and short-waisted. (5'3", 110 lbs, a 32/34 C or D) I don't think I have ever had a top of this sort that did NOT need the straps shortened in order for the bust support to work. Which I need -- I'm almost 47 years old. 'Nuff said. Aside from the fact that I have to painstakingly shorten the straps and I am not a good sewer (I wore it once for yoga and heck, it would have made a great PlayBoy photo shoot -- cleavage a-plenty) this top has all the right stuff: the shirring is lovely; the band beneath the bust adds excellent support, I got the orchid color and it is beautiful. Soft and comfortable. I got the small (I don't like to order XS even when I think it will be more supportive in the chest because then it gets skin tight, which I don't like.) I think the key to the nice look is that the shirring is not purely decorative -- it actually serves to SEPARATE the breasts a bit -- why all athletic top makers do not understand the importance of separation is beyond me. You can send a man to the moon but cannot construct a soft inner bra that lifts and separates? It is laughable, but sad for those of us who need it. Is there anything worse than buying an expensive sport top with a "built-in shelf bra" and then have to wear a sports bra under it? The discomfort is severe. Overall, I could never wear this top for anything but yoga, but that is what I do most of. Yum!

Okay, the petal color/pattern has got to be one of the least attractive I've seen. That aside, there was a looseness to this top that just didn't cut it. It has potential, the shirring at the bodice is good... but there is still a bit of uniboob. It is large/loose (I got a small.) I don't like to order XS because then I get a skin tight look and heck, I'm 46 years old, time to have some dignity, no? Also, then sometimes the chest support moves into the masher zone. THis almost made the cut, good coverage and I like the back, but beware the looseness.

Well, not for busty gals who need support. ANd not for shorter gals -- the whole cut is very long.

Ideal would be a more shaped bodice with a little more coverage, and no cut-out in the back. It's just not flattering, I'm pretty thin and it still created a less than flattering "bulge."

Beautiful top if you are tall, slim and not large breasted and don't need that much support. I wish!

On the one hand, this coat is fantastic -- exactly what I wanted! I am 5'2" and was worried it would be too long, but it was not. I'm small, 109 pounds, but got the SMALL vs. the XS so I could wear layers underneath. I do think the XS would have been snugger in the shoulders than I like. The problem is that the top part fits nicely, room in the shoulders etc., but the waist begins just above my hips and flares out so I look kind of like a little girl wearing her mommy's coat. Even my zero-fashion-interested husband thought it looked odd. Also, the sleeves were long for a shortie like me. The Metropolis (shorter) version fits more normally, but man I really wanted a longer coat! So -- fabulous for a longer-waisted gal with hips. I envy all those whom it fits! Enjoy!
