Awesome Glasses

Revo Thrive Sunglasses - Polarized

Revo Thrive Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 5 January 24, 2011

In case you are wondering, the Revo Spool and the Thrives are nearly identical. The Spool has serilium polycarbonate (fancy plastic) lenses and the thrive has glass lenses. Glass lenses are more scratch resistant, but less impact resistant - so you have to choose what you want more. The other difference is the Thrives are slightly smaller - 63mm wide per lens vs 66mm wide per lens and slightly shorter by a few millimeters. So the Spools might fit better on a larger medium sized face. I was torn between the Spools and Thrives, but chose the Thrives mostly because they fit better and because I preferred glass lenses. Either way, if you choose Revo you will get a high quality pair of sunglasses with the best optics and will love them.

Very little down

Sierra Designs Pull-On Down Bootie Slipper - Men's

Sierra Designs Pull-On Down Bootie Slipper - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 January 24, 2011

These booties have very little down/loft. They are very thin. I returned mine because I was disappointed with them. The soles are nice and I like the elastic cinch. But overall, the down bootie is more just a bootie - hardly a down bootie. If you do decide to order them - I ordered size large which fit my size 10 foot well. Large was too small for my brother though, who wears a size 11/11.5.

Five Ten Anasazi Verde Lace-up Climbing Shoe - Men's

Five Ten Anasazi Verde Lace-up Climbing Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 18, 2009

These shoes work very well for everything. I choose them over my miuras. If you are primarily a sport climber climbing dime edgy faces, these shoes absolutely cannot be beat. Also, if you are a climber looking for a shoe that can do everything these are a great choice.
I wear a size 10 street shoe, a 41.5 in the miura VS (which was initially painful but perfect after they stretched) and the 9.5 in the Verdes is perfect.

Super Comfy

prAna Sonora Pant - Men's

prAna Sonora Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 6, 2009

I love these pants. They fit great, are extremely comfortable and soft, and are perfect for a day of climbing, hiking, or just being out on the town. The only thing that kind of annoys me about them is that the closure for the fly above the zipper is velcro instead of a button; however this is a very minor detail for such nice pants.
I am 5'10" 170lbs and the medium fits perfect.

Awesome Draws

Wild Country Nitro Quick Draw

Wild Country Nitro Quick Draw

Rating for this product: 5 June 6, 2009

The nitro carabiner is the exact same as the twice as expensive helium carabiner with a skinnier hooded nose, which makes it cheaper to produce and hence cheaper for the consumer to purchase. I love these draws, they are light, inexpensive, and made with the highest quality - what more could you ask for?

Light, Inexpensive and quality

Wild Country Xenon Lite Quickdraw

Wild Country Xenon Lite Quickdraw

Rating for this product: 4 June 6, 2009

These are really nice quickdraws. There are a lot of other draws out there that are twice the price but for the same quality. The xenon lights are very light (2.3oz); however that is partially because they aren't full size (they are only slightly smaller). All in all, I would recommend these quickdraws, but I prefer the full size carabiner; so for a similar price and weight I prefer the Wild Country Nitro quickdraws, but you can't go wrong with these either.
