Movement Skis Goliath Sluff Ski

January 29, 2009

You want to buy skins that fit the widest point of your ski, and then trim down to size. Therefore, the Black Diamond STS in 140mm would be best. The 130mm would work also, but the 140mm would be ideal.^^^ I disagree. The edges on most skis are about 2mm wide each. So, 130mm skins would be perfect (134mm - 2X2mm = 130mm). Buying 140mm skins would be a waste of money and skin material.^^^Definitely go with the 130mm, you wouldn't want to buy skins that are wider than your tips...G3 also makes awesome skins.

Sweet ride, not the stiffest

Volkl Gotama Alpine Ski

Volkl Gotama Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 December 11, 2008

I ride last years ski, which has been changed a bit for the better for this years ski. It's my only ski and have Naxo's on it to shred the inbounds and the BC. Definitely a fun ski where ever you take it but not the stiffest. I've skied others that give more stability because they are stiff. I'm 5'10", 165 lbs, and I ski the 183's

I have last years ski. The new topsheet it more traditional compared to a fiberglass one on last years that took a beating if you ever knocked your skis together.

Mountain Hardwear Beryllium Bib - Men's

May 27, 2008

Specs say that there's no vents. It may be dumb to ask if that's right but I feel its also a bit dumb to make backcountry pants without vents.
