A Great Addition For Layering

The North Face Flux Power Stretch 1/4-Zip Fleece Pullover - Men's

The North Face Flux Power Stretch 1/4-Zip Fleece Pullover - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 3, 2011

The Flux Power fleece is a great addition to your layering wardrobe. It, along with it's predecessor, TNF Omen Stretch Fleece, allow movement without binding and warmth without bulk. The fabric finish is smooth unlike the typical fleece giving a less rugged look but perfect for the after ski party. However, if you like your fit looser, go with the next size up. Overall, I really like this fleece ... I have 3.

Great layer under shell

The North Face Zephyrus Insulated Pullover - Men's

The North Face Zephyrus Insulated Pullover - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 23, 2011

The Zephyrus pullover is a great layer for use under any shell. Being a full time ski coach/instructor, I find that this offers the perfect combination of insulation and breathability. The Zephyrus is light weight and can be stuffed in my boot bag until needed - I have 2 of them as well as the Zephyrus vest. I'm 5'8" and 165 lbs so I usually wear a NF medium but because these are Alpine fit, I went up to a large in the pullovers to get a looser fit - the sleeves were then too long so they were shortened. The vest, on the other hand, was good in a medium. The Zephyrus will be the perfect addition to your cold weather wardrobe.

Watch your sizing

The North Face Release Fleece Jacket - Men's

The North Face Release Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 June 25, 2010

I have one of these but as with any of TNF stretch fleeces, watch the size that you order. These fleeces fit close to the body, so if you like the fit looser this may not be the one for you. I went up a size and shortened the sleeves. Also, the fabric used is prone to snagging, so be careful.

The North Face Annapurna 1/4-Zip Fleece Sweater - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 25, 2010

I really like this fleece - it is just the right weight for layering. I wear a TNF Velocitee shirt under and it is the perfect combination for work or play. It gives me an additional layering option for skiing.

Great boots and cool color!!

Lange WC 120 Ski Boot - Men's

Lange WC 120 Ski Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2008

These boots are everything an all mountain skier needs - precision and feel with power and style. Your buds will be able to pick you out in the lift line! Good fit and actually easier to take off cold than the previous Lange comp 120. My only problem was created by my boot fitter "springing" the shells during some tuning and now the toe dams leak, but we're working on that.
If you like to go hard with fine control, this boot is for you providing you have a lower volume foot.

GREAT PANTS !!

The North Face Mountain Pant - Men's

The North Face Mountain Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2008

These are great ski pants - they can take whatever the mountain throws at them. They are NF's "performance fit" which means a little more fitted than the Freedom pants, etc. They have great waterproof zippers and have a very light lining so I don't have to layer(just compression shorts and knee hi liner socks.) I have 4 pair of these and they are the only ski pants I wear now.
