Not as good as the Aegis...

Marmot Oracle Jacket - Men's

Marmot Oracle Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 May 14, 2009

This jacket is very bulky compared to the Aegis and is a noticeably heavier. I didn't see much advantage to the zip-off hood either. When you do take it off you're left with a bulky collar...

It'll definitely keep you dry though!

Sweet, light jacket!

Marmot Aegis Jacket - Men's

Marmot Aegis Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 14, 2009

This jacket does have the MemBrain Strata fabric. It feels noticeably lighter than the Oracle and less bulky. I'm 6'3" and the large fits great. Plenty of room for a light fleece under it and the pit zips are a huge bonus!

Good fit.

Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Replacement Lens

Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Replacement Lens

Rating for this product: 5 February 25, 2009

I bought a persimmon set to use in low light conditions, specifically when I go shooting and they work great. These lenses do a good job and work fine indoors.

Simplicity and its finest

Black Diamond Chaos Harness

Black Diamond Chaos Harness

Rating for this product: 5 February 23, 2009

I've only used this harness twice and am loving it so far! I'm a 34" waist and the Med fit perfect. I love the non adjustable legs, they fit well and it takes only seconds to get the harness on and off. Very comfortable and simplistic for the gym.

prAna Jackal Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 23, 2009

This fit well and look great. I'm a 34" waist and the Med is a little snug, but I like that b/c a belt isn't needed.

Too Long!

prAna Sonora Shorts - Men's

prAna Sonora Shorts - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 February 23, 2009

Hmmm... the other reviewer stated that these were too short, but I'd have to say that they're way too long. I'm 6'3" and bought the Med. The shorts are below my knees which is very annoying. I'll be returning them. Otherwise they seemed well constructed.

Ehhh...

Mountain Hardwear Lightweight Power Stretch Boxer - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Lightweight Power Stretch Boxer - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 February 23, 2009

I bought the small based on other reviews and they fit my 34" waist perfectly. The only complaint that I have is that there's no room in the crotch and the fly isn't cut very well. It tends to spread open while running and the boys fly free...

Wow, awesome shirt!

Marmot Midweight Crew - Men's

Marmot Midweight Crew - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 23, 2009

I really wasn't sure about the color of this shirt and still aren't, but it fits perfectly and boy is it toasty! I'm definitely keeping it! It's not too form fitting, but doesn't bunch up if you wear other layers over it.

Patagonia Capilene 2 Zip-Neck - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Patagonia Capilene 2 Zip-Neck - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 February 23, 2009

This shirt is very baggy and almost as thin as silk (you can see through it). I have one other Cap2 top and the newer version doesn't even compare. My older one is thicker is no were nearly this baggy. This is going back :(

Best gloves ever!

Black Diamond Guide Glove - Men's

Black Diamond Guide Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 23, 2009

These fit a little snug for me (I usually wear a large, but the XL fit better in these). They are awesome for a weekend of backcountry skiing. My hands never got cold once in the windy 0-10 degree temps. The only thing that I would like to see is a safety clip to attach to my jacket.

Nothing exciting here. Just a basic nylon cargo short. I'm a 34" waist and the Med fit perfect.

Stupid hood!

The North Face Free Thinker II Jacket - Men's

The North Face Free Thinker II Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 February 23, 2009

Loved the jacket as a whole, but the huge non-removable hood killed it for me. It was always in the way and flapping around. They need to make it removable or at least put some velcro on it so you can keep it out of the way. I will be sticking with my Mt. Light Parka for now.

Petzl Adjama Harness - Men's

Petzl Adjama Harness - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 February 23, 2009

I'm a 34" waist and the Med was way too big. I traded it for the small and that was also too big. I'm not sure what the deal with this is. Maybe it's designed to go over a few base layers and ski pants???

The North Face Aconcagua Down Jacket - Women's

The North Face Aconcagua Down Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 February 23, 2009

My girlfriend loves this jacket and it looks great on her. She's had it for a few months now and it works great as a liner for her TNF ski shell. It's also good for around town. She's never complained about it not being warm enough.

The North Face TKA 100 Glacier 1/4 Zip Fleece Pullover - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 February 23, 2009

This is an ok pullover. I have a few other TNF fleeces in Large like this that are cut better. This one is kinda baggy in the body and the sleeves are almost too short and tight.

Perfect

The North Face Pamir WindStopper Jacket - Men's

The North Face Pamir WindStopper Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 7, 2009

This jacket is lightweight and windproof; perfect for a early morning run or casual day at the office. It doesn't provide much warmth if it's in the 20's... it's just right when paired with a tshirt in the 30-50 degree range. It's a little slimmer fitting than the Denali jacket which I also like. Great jacket!
