The Arc'teryx Delta SV Jacket is the best fleece jacket that I've ever owned in terms of fit and function. I must preface this by saying that I haven't used it in the winter yet, but I love the fit, comfort and color of it. I ordered the shitake color, and it's a nice, light green. I'm 5'6", 115 lbs, and the small is perfect. It is an athletic fit, so note that it will fit somewhat snugly in the arms as other reviewers have said. I'm thinking it will be great for climbing as the sleeves aren't so long that they get in the way of the hands. In addition, the collar can be worn up for extra warmth but is big enough to be comfortable and cozy without restricting movement or feeling like a weak person choking you. Bleh. LOVE IT!

The Therm-a-Rest Dream Time Sleeping Pad is a great pad if you plan on doing any car camping or when weight/size isn't an issue. The comfort is hard to beat. In fact, my boyfriend's parents recently stayed with us and were very disconcerted to see that we were making them sleep on two of these babies strapped together. They wanted us to go to Wal-Mart to get them an air mattress...but we urged them to give it a try. After one night, they were convinced! That's how comfortable these are! They spent an entire week on them. They're super durable, too.

I bought the KUHL Arete Shirt for my boyfriend, and he loves it. I first got a large for him, but had to send it back and get an XL because this shirt had a very trim fit (he is 6'1" and about 185). The XL is perfectly relaxed and good looking! The quality of the construction on this shirt is better, in my opinion, than shirts priced twice this. I love how the yoke of the back is placed so the plaid is in contrast to the rest of the shirt. It makes the shirt so that it can be really casual or more dressed up. LOVE IT!

I bought the Patagonia A/C Shirt for my boyfriend to wear to work, casually, and for dinners out with the parents and me. He looks great in it...it's comfortable...and it's cool. What more could you ask for? He's 6'1", 185 lbs, and a large is perfect.

The fabric is substantial yet cool, so he can wear it casually or for more dressy occasions (dinners out, work, etc.). It's a nice fit and very comfortable for him, too. The Black Diamond Instinct Backpack is great for a day of hiking, climbing or bouldering (among other things). Stuff a fleece or puffy in the outside compression area if you're worried about getting cold. Then, you can put your sunblock, shoes, chalkbag, etc. on the inside. The camera/phone go in the smaller zip pocket on top. Water bottles on the side. Clip your rack/harness/whatever to the multiple straps/loops and you're all set. This is an all-around good bag for day-long adventures.

I got the Kavu Synthetic Strapcap to prevent hairline sunburn on my daytime climbing and hiking adventures. It's a great hat! I got the medium and it is perfect. It's light and comfortable, and it dries super fast. I like the adjustable strap in the back, and you can slip a ponytail through it easily. It's a 10!

This is a great top for climbing or other outdoor endeavors. It's mildly supportive (great for A or B cups) and offers a decent amount of coverage. My only complaint would be that it extends a little too far up onto the collarbone and under the arms. It's just slightly uncomfortable that way for me. But for someone who wants more support or doesn't mind that, it would be perfect. The fabric is really nice.

I got these shorts for my boyfriend about a week ago, and I don't think he's taken them off since (eww!). That means he loves them! He is 6'1" and 185 lbs, and I got him a large. They fit great, especially with the adjustable belted sides. The KUHL Eiger Short is really a great buy. Pair is with some of Kuhl's button-down shirts for the total mountain-guy look. HOT!

I am usually a small but ordered these in an x-small--they're actually perfect with a little room to grow (run pretty big)--I am 5'6" and 115lbs. I got the green and the black--cute colors! The fabric is nice, and even though it says to not put them in the dryer, I do, and they come out just fine. I haven't noticed any shrinkage. The one complaint I do have is that they do stretch out a bit with wearing them. The knees get that bubble knees effect if you are moving and bending a bunch. Overall, I like them though.

This is a good skirt for casual or dressy. The fabric is light and airy, and it washes well. I ordered a small and am 5'6", 115 lbs. It falls just below the knee on me. My only complaint is that it does fall open when you sit down or when the wind blows. I have to hold it closed sometimes to avoid showing all the girly bits! My advice is to wear a cute pair of the Patagonia active briefs and not worry about it. :)

This dress can do anything. It's absolutely gorgeous for dress up if you add a chunky necklace and put your hair up. But, you can add flip flops and be casual, too. The small fit me perfectly, and I am 5'6", 117ish lbs. You don't need a bra with this since the fabric is pretty substantial (fine for smaller-busted ladies). The ONLY complaint is that if you are going to be sitting, the knot in the back can make your spine kind of hurt! The length is good too, below the knee to mid-calf on me.

This is a great casual or dress up shirt. The photo makes it look kind of short, but I found it to be nice and long (I am 5'6", 115 lbs). I ordered an XS b/c I found it to run a little large when I tried it on in a store. It's also super soft and cut perfectly--not too high, not too low.

It's long enough to cover my back with low-cut jeans, and it's super soft. You can really dress this up with a nice dangly necklace, or throw it on with shorts and flip flops for a casual weekend outfit. It's perfect!

I ordered this in the blueberry color, size small. It's a very soft fabric, flattering fit, very comfortable. I am 5'6", 115 lbs, and it fits nicely. My only complaint would be the length--I wish it was just a couple inches longer, but that's just personal preference. Overall, it's really nice for casual with jeans.

I love this shirt for activewear or casual/cute. First, it's got the built-in tank/sport bra feature which is great for being active or going braless. Second, the fit is very nice and feminine and LONG (but not too too long). Third, the colors are very cute and vibrant. Finally, it didn't shrink in the wash. It's a keeper! I get lots of compliments...it's true to size...I could go on and on. I am 5'6", 115 lbs, with a smallish chest and a small was perfect.

I got this in the Quince color, size small, and I absolutely love it. Horny Toad always has the softest fabrics and best colors...plus, the photos just don't do the fit justice! I am 5'6", 115 lbs, and the small is perfect. I could probably do an XS if I wanted a tighter fit, but I prefer a more relaxed feel (plus, I like to be able to throw it in the dryer without worry). I recommend this to anyone who likes to wear jeans and a cute necklace and look super cute and chill!

I bought this for short, afternoon runs (3-5 mi) and it's been great. It doesn't bounce, and it's lightweight. It holds my keys, chapstick, etc, but it's not overly bulky. You have to put it around the smallest part of your waist and cinch it tight to work properly, so if you're hoping to wear it low on your hips, it's not for you. I recommend this item for sure!

I ordered the Panic model and it works well. The only drawback is that if you plan to run sometimes and walk at other points during your workout, it won't be completely accurate (because your stride length is different). However, if you plan to consistently run or consistently walk, this is a good product. It does everything that I need it to do, and it non-obtrusive and light. The red cord on the panic thingie was almost torn in half when I received mine, but I'm sure that was just something that happened during manufacturing. I'm just going to remove the little loop and replace it with another string.

This is a great chalk bag. I love that the upper rim is molded plastic so it stays open and ready when you need to take a dip. I also like that it dips down a bit on the side with the logo so that when you reach back, you aren't having to look for where to go to get your chalk. It's just a great bag. The one thing is that it doesn't seem to close as tightly as some bags. But overall, it's a good bag.

This was the first rock climbing shoe that I bought, and it has served me well. I definitely prefer it for top-rope and sport climbing over bouldering, but either way, it's good for anything and is relatively comfortable. I'd say if you're going to do a lot of indoor bouldering, go for something more edgy like an Evolv Velcro strapped shoe, but this is perfect for outdoor route climbing.

This dress will be perfect for casual days at work and evenings with friends in the backyard. I'm 5'6", 120 lbs, and the small is a good fit. I did think that the bottom flared out a little more than what I normally like, but it's still really cute. The length is a little above the knee. The fabric is soft. There is no shelf bra, but the fabric is still pretty substantial.

These are my favorite flip flops. They are super cute, super comfortable, and super versatile. They are dressy enough that you could wear them with cute capris or a dress, but you could also wear them with jeans or shorts and look just right. I wear an 8.5-9 and ordered these in a 9. They're awesome!

these shoes are very flattering on my feet and really comfortable, too. i normally wear an 8.5 in street shoes, so i ordered a 9. i would say these run a little narrow since the straps are relatively fitted on my narrow feet. the bottoms are nice and soft...very comfy.

these are pretty much my "go-to" shoes in the fall and winter. i don't wear them as much in the spring/summer because they're just not as functional (i switch to the flip-flops), but otherwise, they're great. i wear 8.5-9 in street shoes, and i wear a 39 in this shoe with thin socks and a 40 with a thick sock. i think it depends on personal fit preference. they are super comfortable. my only fit complaint is that i sometimes turn my ankle in these because they are a little bit wide for me.

i haven't washed this yet, so i'm hoping it will shrink a little bit. i am normally a women's small, but i'd say this is more like a medium. i think i would have been better off with an xs. it is, however, really cute and breezy. will be nice with a skirt and some flip flops this summer. it's also nice and long.

i like this shirt a lot, but it does run a little bit. i haven't washed it yet though. it's nice and long--hits at the hip. it's really soft and super comfortable. i'm normally a small and ordered a small. i'd say if you like your stuff really fitted, order a size down. otherwise, order your regular size if you like a more airy feel or want to layer with a tank underneath.

first of all, this tank runs a bit big. i am usually a small and ordered a small, but it has excess fabric under the arms. i would have been better off with an xs. in addition, the shelf bra is pretty flimsy for my taste (in comparison to something like a Patagonia or prAna sport top). if you don't want a whole lot of support, it's fine.

i ordered these in a size 6 and absolutely love them (i am normally around a size 4 or 6, 5'6" and 120 lbs). the fabric is super soft, and the length is perfect for me. i highly recommend them as all-around shorts for either hiking or bumming around town.

this is my absolutely, number one favorite climbing top for several reasons. first, the fabric is super substantial. the bra inside is great and supportive. the underarm area doesn't cut into me like some other brands do. the straps stay put and are sort of a racerback. the length is just right, and i like the split in the back. the v-neck is flattering and this thing is just great! the sizing is also right on. i get a small and i'm 5'6", 120 lbs.

the Patagonia stand up shorts keep getting better and better. remember the old ones that were so high on the waist? ha! i loved those, too. but these...these are the best. these have a low rise...the perfect length...and the fabric seems like it will last forever. the back pockets are super flattering, and i love the Velco closure. these are wonderful. i am 5'6", 120 lbs, and i got a size 6. they are perfect.

this is a great jacket. it keeps me toasty warm on winter camping trips. it's long in length...so it covers your back when you bend over. the sleeves are fine for me at 5'6" and 120 lbs. i'd say the small runs a little large. but i like the fit for layering. the detachable hood is also a nice feature. i have also washed this jacket in the machine, and it came out just fine after a tumble dry with no heat.

i wear this multi-purpose shirt ALL THE TIME. i wear it skiing, snowboarding, to the office as a sweater, bumming around town, camping, hiking, around my waist in case the temp change, etc. etc. it has probably been through the wash a hundred times or more, and it still looks great. i have a small and am 5'6", 120 lbs. it fits perfectly and looks stylish enough to be a top layer if you want.

i love these pants for skiing and snowboarding. they have a high waist--which i actually love--because it keeps the snow off my bum. they are also pretty fitted but not too tight to be uncomfortable. the waistband is non-chafing and very comfortable. even if you pull it down to a lower level, it doesn't cut into you. i am 5'6", 120 lbs and a small is perfect. i should add that i've washed these probably a hundred times, and they're still in perfect shape.

this chaco sandal is just wonderful. i see that many have complained about the straps, but i think that's because a lot of people aren't aware of how to adjust them. you have to take some time to get these right from the get go, but once you do that, you're all set! the arch support on these is great for me, and i find them really stable for various sporting endeavors. plus, the style is perfect for me. i think the straps on this model are more feminine and pretty than some of the other chaco offerings--especially on my larger size feet. as for sizing, i am an 8.5-9 in street shoes, and i ordered a 9. i would say my feet are a little on the narrow side.

these are great shoes for a beginner or intermediate climber. i have been bouldering about a year and love these. i purchased my street shoe size (8.5), and it's just right (don't size down in these since they have a synthetic lining and won't stretch). these are really comfortable, and you will be tempted to keep them on for hours at a time. don't do that, however, because the synthetic liner will make your feet sweaty and stinky. if this happens, you can wash them out with a gentle detergent and warm water. take an old toothbrush and scrub the inside. then, put dr. scholl's foot powder in them after they dry. they'll be a lot better. i highly recommend these shoes--and the price can't be beaten.

i wear this sweater to work and even the gym all the time--it has been washed over and over and has really taken a beating. plus, it's really comfortable. i wish it was a little bit longer, but overall, it's really nice. the sleeves are long enough for me, and that's a plus. it has a slim fit with a sort of slight turtleneck as another reviewer has mentioned. it's great to throw on over a tank top when the air is a little crisp. super soft fabric, too. i wash this in the machine and let it air dry just to be safe. i normally wear a small and purchased a small. i've tried a medium, too, and think either would work depending on how you like the fit to be.

i agree with the other reviews that this top has tight sleeves/shoulders; however, i still love it. i purchased a small, and i am 5'6", 115-120 lbs. i could have used a medium, but i'm happy with the small. i've even put this shirt into the dryer, and it came out fine for me. i just make sure to stretch it out a little bit before folding it and putting it away. the sleeves and length are longer which is nice. it's also a very soft fabric.

i have these in two colors and really like them. they're functional, cute and comfy. i wear them on camping trips and into the office, and i find them appropriate for both. the pattern on the fabric is almost like a super fine corduroy, and they're really soft. one thing that i found interesting is that i ended up in a 4 in one pair and a 2 in another--however, they both fit exactly the same (i am 5'6" and 120 lbs). the bootcut bottoms are also nice.

This is a great skort. The length is perfect--pretty short, but I prefer that for my skinny legs. The fabric is substantial, and the flare of the skirt is just right. Not too tight, not too a-line. I have only two complaints. First, the elastic in the top waistband is a bit thinner than the actual casing for it, so I have a feeling it is going to roll with use. It's not wide and flat like it looks in the photo. Also, because I have very thin legs, the shorts underneath don't hug my thighs as tightly as I'd like them to. But like I said, I STILL LOVE IT! I have a feeling this will become my summer staple for active and casual wear.
