Timbuk2 333 Classic Messenger Bag

This bag is great, very stylish but be careful: contrary to the description above, this bag does NOT have a laptop pocket. It is just one main compartment with small organizing pockets in the front. I bought thinking I could use for my laptop, so now I have to buy a laptop sleeve in addition to protect it...

K2 Schi Devil Telemark Ski - Women's

April 21, 2009

Actually I have a friend who bought them and she couldn't get Marker's AT binding (Baron I think) mounted on them. Don't know about the pattern of Fritschi's or Dynafit's. My understainf is that the inserts are specifically for telemark bindings and I have used them successfully so.

Marker Baron Ski Bindings

Yes, but new holes will need to be drilled.> Actually, I checked and the answer is no. There is not enough space left from the predrilled inserts to drill new ones.

Great pants

Arc'teryx Theta SV Bib - Men's

Arc'teryx Theta SV Bib - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 9, 2008

Great pants for skiing and mountaineering in NH and VT. Have used them a few days now and I love them. A few comments though. First, this is a hard shell, so wear some really warm tights under them. Regular bottoms were not warm enough for really cold freezing temps here in New England. Second, I can tell unfortunately that they are not completely unbreakable: already got a little scratch from tree skiing (granted it was a serious wipe out...). No big deal but for >$400 pant, I expected stronger material. And last, but this is cosmetic, the fit is a bit baggy (got the S/Tall and I am 6'0 for 175 lbs).

K2 Mt. Baker Alpine Touring Ski

October 24, 2008

I bought these skis and I am planning to mount telemark bindings on them. It seems however that they are "recommended" for AT. Any hint why these skis would not be as good for telemark (like its flex, ...)?
