Bio:

Raised backpacking and hiking in Colorado and Utah, I've been on a little bit of a break since the birth of my daughters. Now that they're walking, my wife and I have started introducing them to the wonderful world of nature. For the time being, I'm looking for good hikes while I finish my tour of duty in Europe. Once I'm back in the states, I plan to start them backpacking.

Good Bag, But a little too small

I bought the small one for my D80 with the 18-135 kit lens. It barely fits in the pouch. The smaller pockets are nicer, but if I were going to do it all over again, I would have bought a larger bag. Additionally, one of the reasons I bought it was that it could be chest strapped, but lacks the directions to move the cord to do so.

Great Watch

Suunto X9i GPS Watch

I purchased this watch for two reasons: to keep track of my running and to start geotagging my pictures. It works on both accounts, amazingly well. I don't have trouble getting a signal, and have quickly learned how to use the basic functions. I do find that the distance does get a little weird at times, but there's a lot of signal interference where I run. Well worth the cost.
