Wonderful bag for kids!
Lafuma Warm'n Light 600 Sleeping Bag: 40 Degree Down
October 21, 2008
I may not be the roomiest or warmest--it's not--but it is so small and light that a 8-10 pound pack is possible for kids. Don't spend even $20 on a kids bag that they will grow out of and is too bulky and heavy to pack for backpacking. If you can get it on sale (steepandcheap.com) and see that it weighs half of other bags and compresses down to the size of a large grapefruit, then it will be a favorite piece of gear. For an adult, it is a tight mummy fit. I can't say it has not been warm enough, but I am in FL and warm is less of an issue.
