Bio:
I'm a NYC transplant who just couldn't leave Boulder after college. There's just too much to do -- tele skiing, mountain biking, trail running, road biking, cyclocross, tennis, softball, ultimate, longboarding... and I love to do all of it with my husband, daughter and close friends.
I'm on volunteer ski patrol at Winter Park/Mary Jane and track cycling and surfing are on my short list for new sports to try.

Scarpa NTN Binding

Just how easy is it to swap NTN from one ski to another? Anyone done it that can give me step by step instructions?

Scarpa NTN Binding
October 25, 2010
So if the $399 price includes the binding itself and cartridges and brakes, can you specify brake width in addition to cartridge type? I'm leaning toward the green cartridge but a friend said I should also consider the white. I'm a 5'6" chick on volunteer ski patrol in CO and a strong all-mountain skier. Any recommendations? Also, if I get another binding heel plate, how easy is it to switch the binding from ski to ski?

Volkl Kiku Ski - Women's
October 21, 2010
Trying to decide whether to get the 162 or 170 length in this ski. I'm a good skier on volunteer patrol at Winter Park, CO. Will be setting it up with NTN bindings. Any recommendations?

Salomon Geisha Ski - Women's
January 7, 2010
Trying to decide between the Geisha, the Rossi BC Pro 110 and the Volkl Kiku. I know they're all different waist widths but all claim to be a great all mountain ski with focus on powder. I'm on volunteer patrol at Winter Park, CO, and need a ski primarily for powder (50%), bumps (30%), and groomers (20%) but I want at least a 95 width at the waist. Anyone got an opinion or recommendation?

Volkl Kiku Ski - Women's

I demoed the 08/09 Kiku that had a pair of G3 Roxy bindings on it. I had a blast on the ski but the G3 bindings were way too flimsy for this ski. The Kiku would rock with a pair of BD 02 or 01 bindings on it.

find something called Sard Wonder Soap from Australia. It's the best (and natural) stain remover EVER. What's great about it is that if the entire stain doesn't come out the first time, use Sard again and it will work -- even if your garment was in the dryer.
