It's about time a manufacturer designed a boy short that doesn't ride up during activity or at rest, regardless of the size of your booty. Stoic nailed it with comfortable, breathable fabric and a snug but not too tight fit. I've done just about every sport in these and keep washing them almost daily because I want to wear them again and again. No other boy short I have comes close. Next time, I'm ordering a dozen.

I got this for my dad as a birthday present; he needed a warm layer to wear while skiing and for around town when the temps aren't too cold. Jacket has a great, flattering cut and sizing information was right on. My dad loves the jacket and actually hasn't taken it off since I gave it to him. I'd highly recommend it!

Quite possibly the warmest and lightest down jacket I've ever owned. I've worn it on its own around town and under a softshell while skiing in negative temps and have not been disappointed. It stuffs up small so you can take it anywhere. Plus, it's got some water resistant properties and won't get soggy if you happen to get caught under wet flakes. I'd only change one super minor element of the design by replacing the elastic sleeve ends with adjustable velcro to accommodate larger glove cuffs.

I demoed these fat skis (mounted tele) in 6-8" of fresh powder and they were fantastic. Effortless float yet quick turning in the trees and bumps for such a fattie. The only type of terrain I didn't get to ski was wide open bowls but I am convinced they are a sweet ride all over the mountain.

I tried on lots of synthetic insulated jackets from The North Face, Patagonia and MontBell, and the Compressor PL was by far my favorite. It packs small, is toasty warm, looks good and fits nicely under a soft shell as an extra layer for skiing. Trust me, this jacket is worth the retail price.

Once you try on this (and other) SmartWool baselayer(s) you will be hooked. I've had synthetic long underwear forever and I finally splurged on some SmartWool. Best money I ever spent -- soft, comfortable, warm, doesn't ride up and doesn't stink after a busy day on the mountain. Anything SmartWool is a smart purchase.

I was not so impressed with these BD Patrol Gloves. They were great for about 2 months into the ski season and then the insulation packed out and my fingers were always cold. Maybe BD has made some improvements but I'd be wary...

I love my SmartWool training beanie. It keeps me warm, yet wicks the sweat so I don't overheat. It also doesn't ride up when I'm running -- something I've experienced before with other hats.

I got these skis last year and LOVE them. They're so light that you don't even know you've got them on, turn on a dime for those tight tree runs, hold an edge on the groomers, float through the freshies and crush the mank. A super choice if you're looking for one ski to do it all.

Durable, waterproof, cute pretty much sums up these shoes from Keen. Although they can sometimes be hard to get on and tend to get stinky if you don't wash them every once in a while. Easy lace system is quick for kids on the go.

I love these bindings, especially for the increased lateral/edge control they offer. I have them mounted on some G3 Siren skis and the bindings only improve the skis' performance -- in the bumps, trees, steeps, and powder. I've never had a maintenance issue with these bindings and in fact, I just bought another pair for my new skis. I highly recommend them.

The inside fleece lining on top of all that goose down keeps me toasty warm even on frosty mornings. And the low profile non-bulky fit is perfect under my softshell when the temperature drops more. I was at first concerned that the arm holes were a bit snug, but they're flexible and the tighter fit makes sense to keep all the warm air inside. You will not be disappointed with this vest.

This is a fab short. It fits and looks great and the green really pops. I've gotten tons of complements and would wear them every day if I could.

My husband loves these boots that I ordered for him. They are light and not bulky which is a big plus to find in men's boots.

This shirt is so soft and well fitting that it has moved to the top of my collection for a first base layer. It wicks moisture well to keep me warm and dry when I go from working up a sweat on a bump run to riding the lift. Couldn't ask for a better base layer; definitely worth the investment.

I have not taken this light softshell off since I got it. It's been great for those cool and unpredictable spring weather days for running, mountain biking, spring skiing and softball. Plus, it packs small enough to fit on or in your hydration pack or backpack. I highly recommend this softshell for a light layer or on its own in cooler weather.

I LOVE this jacket. It breathes well (which is a big plus for tele skiing), provides nice coverage in the back (so the jacket doesn't ride up when wearing a pack) and is quite stylie. Those Arcteryx Canadians sure knew what they were doing when they designed this jacket.

I just demoed a pair of these and absolutely LOVED them. They're quick in the trees and bumps and like buttah in the pow. Only thing I noticed is that you have to be on top of these skis—when I started slacking off on a few turns, they kicked me out a bit. Very light, and responsive when you need them to be. All in all, a great ski for aggressive women skiers.

I think Patagonia missed the mark on this one. While they look cool, the fabric is too loose around the legs, as well as too short, so the underwear tends to ride up. I've spoken to friends (even those with small butts) and they experience the same problem.

Patagonia has outdone themselves with a comfortable pair of underwear that wicks moisture and stays in place so you don't even feel like you're wearing them. Plus, the low waist makes them great for hip-slung shorts and jeans.
