great jacket

This jacket is boomproof. Great at shedding precip and keeping you warm. Big enough to fit underlayers comfortably. Only complaint is that is tends to be on the short side. Hits right at waist level, which is fine if underlayers are tucked in, but if not they tend to stick out. I've had this jacket for over 5 years now and it is still like new.

I use this bag for everything. Backcountry trips, plane flights, and trips to the girlfriend's place to do laundry. It carries everything and the kitchen sink. If you fill this pack full for anything less then a week long trip, you need help packing. Super comfortable and highly adjustable. Everything you would expect from arcteryx! Stop thinking about it and just get this bag. Not one complaint in over 3 years of use.

Boomproof!

Arc'teryx Naos 85 Backpack - 5004-5370cu in

I've had this bag for almost 4 years now in the 55L version and it has never let me done yet. this thing is totally worth the money. Better then any pack with a rain cover over it in rain. I've tossed this bag over my kayak for the fun of it for almost 5min and nothing was wet (I didn't have anything in the zippered pockets however). Haven't had any problems with the glued on attachements (nothing is stitched on on this pack). Arcteryx rep told me that each attachment has been rated to support over 400lb! The only feature lacking on my pack is a side zipper into the main compartment, but then you lose waterproofness. Can't have your cake and eat it to! Get this bag, you won't regret it! Also, the hip belt disc is amazing. The hip belt moves with you. I'll never go back to the traditional fixed hip belt style.
