Vasque Breeze Low Day Hiking Shoe - Men's

Vasque Breeze Low Day Hiking Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 18, 2008

I've only owned these shoes for a few short months but I've been getting a lot of use out of them. They're comfortable and seem to be well constructed. The tread is very nice and I've noticed I can get much better traction in wet leaves and muddy banks than I could with my old tennis shoes. They clean up easily and aren't really easy to get wet. The sole of the shoe is higher than an average pair of tennis shoes so that helps protect against wet socks when crossing a soggy field or something. Don't get me wrong they're not water proof by any means...but the high sole does better than a low soled tennis shoe. They don't show dirt and mud hardly at all b/c of the color (tan/brown). They definitely do what I need to do and work well for the average couple of hour hike in the woods.
