I Like these pants a lot. Being a taller guy, it's nice that there is a pair of outdoor pants with a longer inseam. I normally wear 33-34, but the 34-33 here work great. Stretchy, so if it heats up you can roll up the legs no problem. They're definitely low key enough for casual wear.

Decent commuter pack

ALPS Mountaineering Synergy LT Backpack - 2800cu in

ALPS Mountaineering Synergy LT Backpack - 2800cu in

Rating for this product: 3 July 6, 2009

I like this bag. Plenty of space, fits around the back well, and good laptop sleeve, although it can be annoying to get a bigger laptop in there. Still, I have some complaints. First, the straps at the top are too close together and rub on my neck if my shirt doesn't have a collar. second, the quality is slightly sub-par. The stitching at the top of the straps has started to pull a bit. Lastly, I'm not sure how water resistant the bag is. I think any commuting bag should stand up to some serious rain. For now, it's suiting me fine. I would buy it again at steep and cheap price. For $89.00, it could definitely use some improvements.

Great jacket

Backcountry.com Shift Softshell Jacket - Men's

This is a great jacket. If you're a normal size, buy it.

However, I'm a lanky guy (6' 3"), and it's tough to find outerwear that fits right. Although my chest, neck and waist would be medium, I usually go with a size large jacket, and the fit is baggy, but it would work. This large fits my body nicely, but it's short in the torso and the sleeves. So all in all the fit is of... a medium... I had the same problem with the OR Frenzy jacket. So effectively, you guys have just slapped a larger size label on all your jackets, what's the big deal? It's not athletic fit, it's just smaller.

I want to love this jacket, and maybe it's just me, but I don't get the sizing voodoo that some companies are trying right now.
