Note on floor size..

The North Face Tephra 22 Bx Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Just got delivered and set up in the living room to give it a look so i can't give much of an opinion yet, but i will make a note on the size since the floor dimentions are not listed on the specs. It is on the small side for 2 people. 83" long, 52" wide on one side, and 43" wide on the short side.. These specs are directly off the North Face box it came in.. (so its not a perfect rectangle.. the angle shown in the picture is the wider side and the other side tapers in a little narrower.) My two standard sized Alps Mountaineering sleeping pads fit perfectly next to eachother, but with no room to spare on the narrower side. I'm 5'10" and when i lay strait i just barely fit. I would think someone over 6'0" would need to sleep diagonal or else their head and feet would hit the walls. Compare to another similar tent i was considering, the Roadrunner 23, which is 88 inches long, and 58 inches wide on the long end, and has more interior space because of the flatter walls. Other than that.. quaility looks like what you would expect from a basic lightweight tent. Setup is super easy due to the design, and for $79 bucks on steepandcheap i consider it a steal. Just expect to get cuddly if you plan to put 2 people in this thing.
