  • Stomping Grounds:

Deschutes River OR, Yakima River WA, Stevens Pass Ski area WA, Mammoth Mtn CA
  • Bio:

Well, as you can see my passion is fly fishing. My favorite rivers are the Deschutes River in Oregon and the Upper Columbia(Juarassic) river near the Canadian border in WA. If anything can get me up in the morning is a chance to get on the water early. Secondly, I have been skiing since I was seven and I love to ski with my husband and two 17 year old boys. I also like to hike and just be out doors with my German shorthair pointer Kira

Cloudveil RPK Jacket - Women's

Cloudveil RPK Jacket - Women's

I love this jacket. The softshell gore-tex is amazing. The fit is very flattering and is true to size. If you buy the blue, the color is a little more turquoise than in the photo. At this point I can not tell you any more as I had to return the jacket because it is supposed to be a Christmas present... will review more later, when I get it?!!? but I hope this helps a little, I have owned a lot of Cloudveil and love it all.

Gotta love it!!!!!!!!!! This is the best mid layer I have ever owned. High quality, super warm and Very comfortable with a great fit!! Love the zipper. Just pair it with a light base layer and a Cloudveil Razor jacket(from Backcountry.com of course) you will stay toasty warm. Because of the superior breathablity of both pieces, sweating is never a problem. I skied today in 13 degrees and was perfectly comfortable. Plus with Cloudveil's lifetime warranty how could you ever go wrong?!!!!!.

Oakley Half Jacket XLJ Dual Replacement Lenses

Oakley Half Jacket XLJ Dual Replacement Lenses

Rating for this product: 5 August 25, 2008

I bought these yellow lenses to go with my oakley fishing sunglasses. Although they are not polarized like my fishing lenses are they are perfect at dusk when you cant see your fly on the water anymore. Helps for the hike back to your car also. Really brightens up the sky at dusk. It is so nice to be able to just change lenses so you only have to carry one pair of sunglasses. Gotta love that!!

GREAT JACKET!!

Cloudveil Rayzar Ski Jacket - Women's

Cloudveil Rayzar Ski Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 7, 2008

I love this Jacket. Very deceiving for its light weight. It is great for winter flyfishing as it is very warm with one mid weight layer or 2 lighter weight layers. Fits perfectly under my waders. Very comfortable with one mid weight layer 35 degrees and not too hot at 50 degrees. Perfect all weather ski jacket. Love the high neck to keep the wind out. Water beads up and rolls right off. Keeps the wind out and has great range of motion. I highly recommend the Rayzar jacket to anyone who loves winter sports!!
